And I am twins with your DH! The blues and greys are so...well so much like the ocean.
Also looks great with a blue or grey suit. For me a critical factor. These colors are so calming and yet powerful, like the ocean...if that makes sense. Congrats to you both....you both have unerring taste.

A random question for you scarf experts (and forgive me if I should moved this discussion to a separate thread)-- but given that this SS2014 has a lot of design cws that are predominantly white, does anyone else fear that the white will turn yellowish/dull after wear/cleaning or is there a way to prevent that? The Jardin de Leilas come to mind, as well as the Bal de Oiseaux and Maillons de Joel Stein.
Or am I the only one with white scarf paranoia is the solution just to embrace the aging/wear process. Thoughts?

No, I have white scarf paranoia. For the very good reason that when I only had a handful of scarves and didn't cycle them or look after them properly grubby marks got onto the white patches and,despite professional dry cleaning, stayed there. Now I have a few more scarves I am happier to experiment with a bit of white but I am also more expert at washing scarves by hand myself and will dive in to correct any marks that do crop up as soon as they appear. In my experience the white doesn't turn dull unless you give a scarf a lot of mistreatment.

Here's a pic of a 1963 scarf with white background. You be the judge. However it does get stains easily and you need to check before putting back to the box after wear.
