As for the book, I'm not sure. My reaction is to say I prefer the old version. I prefer how the offerings were shown individually (if only in one colorway). What this new book has inherited is the part where they style various scarves together on the model. The new book is nothing BUT that...the plus is that you can see how some patterns work together to form interesting combinations. But that is not what I use the booklet for and the only added value I see in it. I want a record/overview (easy to use) of the various offerings. I don't want to make work of it. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned. I don't know. It's like some of the changes they've made to H.com - also makes it harder for the consumer. IMHO there is a fine line between art and function in such matters, and H may have just crossed to the less than functional side in the name of "art".
I'd be curious to hear from others who have also received/seen the book - is it just me? Will they be retiring the old booklet? This is slightly off topic so I do apologize (though it relates to SS13 scarves) - the point of adding the tiny snippet from the book was to show a design I hadn't seen appear in this thread as yet.
