Both of these colorways are beautiful! I hope you keep one. I'm still anxious to see the rest of the GM colorways for this pattern-- this is definitely the pattern I want from this season.

I was going to say the same thing as scarfmischief , that splash of red makes all the difference .
Love when a gorgeous scarf has one or two small dashes of an iridescent colour: that can make such a difference when worn.

Thank you ladies for all your input.
I agree that the black cw is much nicer but I decided to keep the grey one (for now).
Not only for practical reasons (I already have it and don't have to exchange it again) but also for sentimental value because of her this cw was my 1st choice.
she was in her carrier going to the vet, she roams the house freely and I am merely her servant.

I trust Aline Honore and I am hoping that the design will grow on me.

I tried to keep an open mind with Piqué Fleuri de Provence and disregard my initial feeling of patchwork quilt, but I am unable to do so.
It also has grandma feeling to it.
This cw18 Mastic/Vert Amande/Vieux rose is going back.
I was planning to get (cw19) and wanted to be scarf twin with scarfmischief- my scarf idol but it has to be another scarf.
If anyone is interested in more blurry photos :amuse:, plz let me know.
Lisa- I checked very carefully no goats on this scarf.

^aw, thank you Juda for that nice compliment! Now that you have posted the picture of your kitty, I can see why you want to keep the grey boat scarf!

I agree with you that Pique Fleuri feels like grandma - especially in the pale rose coloration you posted. I saw that color in person and thought it was too old-fashioned for me. However, I plan to get it in a few more of the bright colors. My SA called me today to inform me that the cashmere Piques have arrived and to come in quickly. I am curious to see how it translates in the GM size. I would like a few pochettes to, but I never know how to wear those!

Pique Fleuri is my only hope for this season, I don't like much else. Someone commented that it looks like a Vera Bradley bag, and now I can't get that image out of my head! I think all that "stitching" ruins it for me. But, I will still buy a few.

Oh goodness....... Grey with amber eyes. Of course you are a servant--what else to this godly creature. I love why you chose to keep grey cw.
