Juda, I just thought it was me and my newbie-ness, but maybe not. So many of the designs look familiar, too familiar. Faivre's new 90 looks too Faivre. I know "we" love her but isn't she trying to do something new and fresh? Maybe she is saving that for the other guys. Tous les bateaux is stunning but ships? yeah, again? The folliage around the scarf is fabulous but it feels to me like she stole it from Frieda Kahlo--especially that monkey. Maybe this shouldn't matter to me.
So then, to continue my whining, we have Graff. Well if anyone understands the darkness that comes with graffiti, you might not be able to appreiciate this antithesis of the naturalistic display of boats and monkeys from Faivre.
Bottom line, I am not thrilled yet. I have much more to see I am sure. I am hopeful that the Ceintures GM is fabulous....the 90 was.

Mia Thanks for posting this , I think it's going to tie and wear fantastically well .Hey carlinha, me too I'm dying to find out!!! This season my fave's are Echec Au Roi, Pique Fleuri and the Equateur. I don't have any intel yet on the Pique Fleuri GM cashmere, 90cm or Gavroche yet. My store hasn't received any SS2013 silks yet as of yesterday.(
But I did save the following pictures I've seen from the Hermes website (this is the GM cashmere):

I don't buy scarves in Summer very often, but I'd be tempted by this GM if I did .
All the talk of it looking like a quilt is irrelevant to how the scarf looks ---IMHO very French: fresh, charming, insouicant .
Not a full on glamorous design , but irresistibly joyful!
The title must be translated as 'flowery mountain of Provence' so the design could be a sort of relief map with the summit there in the centre.

Yes, the Pique Fleuri is 90cm. I did not see GM or Gavroche yet. But specifically told my SA I want them, any color, call me! LOL!
When I saw your posts on FW12 thread, I think oh Mia must get this violet Ors Bleus! So purple!

Juda Your new Bateaux is a real gem and , love that border and the juxtaposition of the two different patterns . I don't have a black scarf---yet. And I should love one to wear as a top or a belt.
This or Les Cannes [ from AW12] are up there for me .

I received a call from my SA that they received my 1st choice today after I left so I went back and exchanged the black one with cw10 Gris Irise/caramel/Amande
I am not sure which one I like more, I am not in love with both.
I might go back tomorrow and exchange it with the Black cw again
(The boutique already closed tonight, lucky SA).
Or just forget about the design altogether.

I just bought a scarf because I like only the borders (not the entire scarf).
I don't want to offend anyone who likes the scarves this season.
In General we like and buy what looks nice on us, so far all the scarves I tried didn't look nice on me

The borders are amazing, but the overall design doesn't quite live up to it's potential.

If it's a dark scarf you're looking for, duna, did you see the dark grey Mors a la Connetable in your boutique? With the light pink accents, it looked very chic online. But it doesn't have as lovely a border as this

there may be 2 more c/w's - the white one is the only white one and i believe the last color in it was a dark purple (but ever so slight)..it is very elegant, chic + understated - yellow is not normally a color i like BUT this is gold with slivers of purple, very different + regal looking......the red is very bold + bright

c/w 44 - vert jade/kaki/caramel (does not have an outside square border)

and for A/W 12, no rubans summer twills thus far........

There definitely is another white cw.
It is white/blue grey/yellow.
CW 18 is noir/vert/fauve.
I am not sure about the cw's from the blogs???? I am pretty sure Julian.f had them posted correctly!

Ors Bleus cw 15 violet/blanc/parme
Pique Fleuri cw 19 gris bleute/beige/orange (twin w scarfmischief1!) I thought it's busy, it does look busy, however after folding, the pattern is just delicate. scarfmischief1 has detail shots in her thread. Especially the corners are so beautiful! I want more...
Oh wow, I had not been considering either of these two designs, but your pics have changed my mind. The list keeps growing! I have to make some hard decisions or perhaps get a 2nd job.
