Scarves .......... The Spring 2013 scarves ..........

Here are a few pictures of Le Songe de la Licorne cw14 (black/fuchsia/vert) 90cm silk twill. The pictures are not the greatest as it is dark right now and I had to use the camera flash, but they will give you an idea of how detailed the design is. In true Annie Faivre form, she has included the monkey too! I am awaiting at least one other colorway to arrive. I already told myself, I must get this design as I am sure I would kick myself later if I didn't!!! I just love it!!

Looooove this colourway so much carlinha!!! It is vibrant with interesting colour combination but works magically together!!! You carry it so well! Now I have to find this colourway......you pictures have enabled me!! May I know if the base colour is gray or green or gray-green like vert de gris? The base colour is so mysterious to me...hehehehehe! Thanks and once again, thanks for your wonderful modeling pix!

hi ladies i see a bit of talk about the echec au roi and i picked one up yesterday... may i just say i am absolutely IN LOVE with this design in this colorway! i knew i wanted something in this design but wasn't sure on the CW... this was interesting from stock pics and hanging, but needless to say, it was LOVE AT FIRST TRY for me ... i think it ties sooooo amazingly well and depending how you fold/wear it, different colors are emphasized! the colors are all so very "me" as well and look really good against my skintone. the brilliance of H!

anyway here are some pics i managed to take between last night and today...
hope you find these useful if you were on the fence!

I see the new Echec au Roi has the color vert amande and I love greens, but this color seems to be a bit of a mystery to me. I looked up scarves with the color and I am trying to figure out if it has olive tones or brighter?
The Equatuer Summer Twill is coming in cw vert amande/aqua/violine. Sounds gorgeous!

Codygirl, yes yes! We're talking about the same scarf of carlinha's vert amande echec au roi. From the colourway description, it seems that the 3 colours are the chess piece colours, not the base colour. But I might be wrong (as I expect Vert Amande to be lighter and more pastel, but perhaps Hermes interprets Vert Amande differently). That is why the base colour remains to be a mystery. Hope to find the answer soon! Wish us luck!

BTW, I've read through the posts and made up a list of Echec Au Roi colourway but I am not sure the others are GM colourways or not. Might be 90cm. Hope this can be added/amended by the experts here:

03 marine/orange/ciel
04 Vert Amande/Fuchsia/Orange (GM for sure)
06 orange/mauve/marron

Oooh...glamourbag, I love it when I have partner-in-crimes here buying different colourways for one design. It's good to know I am not the only one as my husband says I am crazy. LOL! I can't wait to see your selections too! I have yet to wait for my store to receive the SS2013 scarves. Hope to be able to try them out soon!

Thank you so much, Glamourbag! The design is stunning! I'd like to buy my first Annie Faivre. Tresors Retrouves didn't work out, but I much prefer this one and hope it comes in a CW that suits me!

Thank you for making the list, Mia! I am falling for this design too, and a cw list is always so helpful. no vert amande for me, though, my coloring would be better with the marine or the white/blue.

if anyone is looking there is a neutral GM at the palm beach store which i believe could be c/w 13

also, they had some 90's

i had no clue when i was looking at scarf IRL that it was chess - i had not been online and had not seen it before - it looked to me like a blue print for the house of the king!?! for the life of me i could not figure it out, you would think i would remember my french better!


they also had mors conetable du roi (sp?), there are a lot of c/w's but the one that stood out was a beautiful pale, pastel minty green, now this i think is the horse tack for the king's head guard, it's looks like a vintage H design - also, i love flowers + trophy + an all orange scarf that looked almost like jacquard i think it said hermes sellier on inside then had a border with stars around it, then an orange border on the perimeter

there were two summer twills from last season, the coral kachinas + canard/cappucine/jaune vif coaching
