As I remember the way that the shipping charges go, if an item is shipped to a boutique for U to pick up, there is no charge, that's a transfer. If it goes to a location other than the boutique, there is a shipping charge.

You are lucky, most of our stores won't transfer, and they won't do a charge send on anything over £500. It is a pain, as I know if I want something, I actually have to do a 4 hour round trip.:nogood:

As promised, some more pictures of CW11 of the TLBLM, with a better shot of the reference tag. This is some hasty knotting and draping, but hopefully it'll give some idea of how the elaborate borders and simpler center work together. One of the pictures has my wet hair in it, which I wouldn't usually let touch my silks, but this was my shameless attempt to enable BBC, who I believe is also a redhead, correct? ;)

Very beautiful CW of this scarf, it works wonderfully with your read hair! This was actually the first design I fell in love with this season, but I have yet to find a CW that I truly love.

Wow, I see what you mean about the feathers! They are just beautiful. I bet this ties well too.

Thank you! Actually, I am having some difficulties tying it. It is rather disappointing as I had high hopes for this design but it isn't working as well as I had thought it would. :(

Great choice, congratulations! Classic, but still feminine.

Thank you!

Beautiful colouring! Very pretty scarf! I love soft colours like that!

Thanks!

Very chic and beautiful soft pastel palette for your new Mexique scarf, color details in the feathers are delightful...do you know the exact color ref?? It is a Rose poudre background? Thanks for any info and many congrats!!

Thank you! I will post the CW info when I get home tonight. However, I do feel that the scarf is rather dull. It isn't as vibrant as I had hoped, and so I may be returning it.

Beautiful! I have this one on its way to me from the Short Hills store, thanks to the heads up from members here. I have been looking for this cw on ebay at a somewhat sane price for awhile, so I'm thrilled that I can get one at retail directly from a boutique. I didn't ask about shipping charges, but anytime I've called a store directly to have something shipped, I've been charged shipping.

Congratulations, ouija board! It's a beautiful cw and very vibrant.
Btw, I always have been charged shipping as well when ordering from a store or online.

Very pretty chincac and a really good, fresh match with Ms Etoupe.

thank you dear plumtree

Oh dear.....going to pretend like I didn't see this :p.
I was thinking of a pair of these myself for my Gris T. B. I was considering the beige cw, but I really like this cw as well. Looks perfect with your stunning Etoupe B., chincac !

lol..thank you. yes i saw the beige ones too and considered that but when it comes to twillies, i realise i just cannot do neutrals..it has to be colours! this design, l'arbre de vie is really gorgeous on twillies :smile1:

I agree, one of the best twilly designs ever IMO. So elegant :tender:!
Mmmm, I probably like the cw you got also better than the beige ones.
Luckily they are not on the European H. website right now, otherwise someone would probably hit a BIN button...By accident of course :graucho::p.

For the few of you not on the CSGM thread.. here's my Graff today with just the pinks (and whites) showing.. No oranges... Wore it subtly as to not take away from the jewel tone of the purple shirt.. Really love this purple on shirt and shawl.. Shirt reminds me of my camails.. almost pulled it out instead, but needed the extra warmth since the blouse was thin...

I was told that as a policy boutiques will generally not do transfers anymore- items need to be paid for and sent to the buyer's address. There are exceptions- I had a scarf brought in from MA a few months ago. They were willing to do it because there were a few available at MA and my boutique felt comfortable selling it if I declined. No shipping charge. It was a favor and I would not make a habit of it so they were gracious- I did end up buying the scarf. I would not expect a transfer to happen much anymore.
