Scarves .......... The Spring 2013 scarves ..........

I had my SA in my city search for one a couple of months back. He found them at the Short Hills, NJ store. I guess Hermes allows each store to have a special edition when it opens. The Short Hills store had the Pegase scarf. It was in two color ways, a red orange and a blueish purple.

The Short Hills name runs along the horse's back leg. I did not do a charge send because the colors, while beautiful, were not ones I would choose.

I have no idea if they still have scarves left, but they might.

Hemmm.. Ok the ones I noticed for sale on eBay are either orange color way or the purple/blue color way. Either way I guess I will give them a ring and see if they have one in stock. I'm Asian so don't know if either will work for me. The one really caught my eyes is the white background with blue line drawing of the Pegasus

Yes! The LE issue of Le Pegase was for the Short Hills store in NJ. They do still have it available in UV and rouge vif cws. I know bc I just got mine from them (charge/send) 2 weeks ago . Thanks to rosebud who informed me . Good luck!

The blue colorway(cw) you saw was a pale blue with blue drawings. The background of that cw is not white. It looks good flat but a bit too pale when worn. (For the record, I'm Asian as well). I have the orange red cw and it is gorgeous when worn on bias to show the colorful feathers. The exact name of the design is not Pegasus, it's Pegase.

Keep checking ebay. Someone on tPF just got one in pale blue with the line drawing about a month ago at less than retail. I haven't seen the white one though.

I just ordered the purple (thanks for the heads up!!), and it sounds like they still have both colors.

Hurrah, indeed! It *is* rather fun. Except when some colorways don't love me so much or clash with my hair. Purple is NOT my friend. But I'm certainly buddies with blue and green!

I got both! . The red (rouge vif) is a very, I would describe, Chinese New Year red . (I'm asian too, chinese). No blue tones at all. And the purple is a very rich purple. No shipping charge. I have never been charged shipping on a charge/send. I will try and capture pics for you. Btw, they are open Sundays (its in the mall).

Juda, this GT is lovely, congrats! I tried it on a few days ago at my store with several others, and my SA is holding this one for me as I wanted to think about it: I don't have any black GM's and I love this design, so I think it's a winner!

Would like to know from you: I bought Quadrige, the silk one in uni-colour (white, it is fabulous), and the label says "Made in Italy". I am a little worried now, I thought scarfs were always made in France? Can anyone confirm this is okay?

You mean the jaquard looking Quadrige? If yes, I have that one in grey (Orage) and these scarves are made in Italy indeed .

I'm adding one more photo of this scarf tied-- not to bore you all to tears with it, but just because many people seem to be fonder of the border of this scarf than its middle, and I think I've found my favorite way to get maximum border display with this pattern. With it draped like this, you can see the border both going and coming, since the other corner of the scarf hangs down the back. Hopefully it'll be useful to someone!

And now, I will cease and desist from TLB posts unless I buy another colorway.
