Lovely64 and Juda, thank you!
I'm adding one more photo of this scarf tied-- not to bore you all to tears with it, but just because many people seem to be fonder of the border of this scarf than its middle, and I think I've found my favorite way to get maximum border display with this pattern. With it draped like this, you can see the border both going and coming, since the other corner of the scarf hangs down the back. Hopefully it'll be useful to someone!
And now, I will cease and desist from TLB posts unless I buy another colorway.
Very beautiful CW of this scarf, it works wonderfully with your read hair! This was actually the first design I fell in love with this season, but I have yet to find a CW that I truly love.
l'arbre de vie twillies, for my etoupe b, not as bright as the yellow and turquoise i have seen but still very pretty!

Gorgeous and classic calexandre! this silk is a winner on you!
Very pretty calexandre, really like the way this scarf ties!
You're killing me, I keep trying to tell myself I have enough neutrals and should really branch out more but this is very much calling to me.
You look fabulous!
Calaxandre, I love the way you tied the scarf, it does show off the borders very well. That colorway is so beautiful I don't mind the boats at all!
Post as many TLB pics as you want! It's so beautiful!![]()
Cousin with you on this scarf! I have the bordeaux/champagne colorway and love it as well!
There are more CWs of the Les Baigneuses twilly on the Canada H if anyone was waiting for them![]()
there was a post way back that said there would be no more scarf stories - I love reading them too....

For the few of you not on the CSGM thread.. here's my Graff today with just the pinks (and whites) showing.. No oranges... Wore it subtly as to not take away from the jewel tone of the purple shirt.. Really love this purple on shirt and shawl.. Shirt reminds me of my camails.. almost pulled it out instead, but needed the extra warmth since the blouse was thin...
I bought a Chain d'Ancre in Korea in Nov and it came with a felt pouch. Maybe you can ask for one from your SA?Nice find-- lots on there!
Looks like there are some on the EU site too-- I'm quite taken with the blue colorway! http://germany.hermes.com/frauen/pe...-38703.html?nuance=2&back_search=q+baigneuses
On another scarf-related topic-- can I ask if any of you who've bought scarf rings recently got the little felt pouch with them? I bought one recently and didn't get the little pouch, but it had been a long time since I'd purchased one, so maybe they no longer come with them....
Some kind soul should just scan them in........that way we could all enjoy the history! If you know your SA REALLY WELL, she/he might make a copy of the stories (which they get in the back of their reference books), but sadly, no more for the customers.

I was told that as a policy boutiques will generally not do transfers anymore- items need to be paid for and sent to the buyer's address. There are exceptions- I had a scarf brought in from MA a few months ago. They were willing to do it because there were a few available at MA and my boutique felt comfortable selling it if I declined. No shipping charge. It was a favor and I would not make a habit of it so they were gracious- I did end up buying the scarf. I would not expect a transfer to happen much anymore.
You are so right, Toujours*Chic, as I've found the Palm Beach boutique no longer does transfers. I think that's been the case for the past year and a half.
