I was reluctant to try 70s for other reasons, I thought maybe they weren't so versatile as 90s, although I am finding that they are. I wasn't aware of any past problems, the detail on J'aime and ClF could not have worked at all had the print not been crisp so I'm glad H stepped-up.

AM a huge fan of the 70cm size. A few seasons ago there was the Clan Equestre and then the C'est La Fete, then JtMon Carre and the Ete series.
Les Flots from Fall/Winter was very vibrant and crisp as is the Dominos pattern, as well.
This Spring 2013 season has shown some irresistable designs in this size, for sure. I think they have always been soft, that is they have a soft hand in the size, which was part of the "vintage" feeling.
The 70cm are so wearable and easy to tie.
Love the charming vintage inspired designs Hermes often chooses to put in this 70cm size/format.
My local boutique almost always sells out of the 70cm size first. Not sure if it because they don't order as many or the price is a bit more friendly? Or maybe they have such exciting designs.

I desperately wanted the 70cm of Epaulettes last season but couldn't love it in the flesh ( not for £220 anyway) because I didn't like the texture and the printing looked indistinct but those 'faults' - it being all a matter of personal taste - seem to have disappeared in the current season's 70s.

I agree. I don't really mind the difference in texture; not enough, at least, to keep me from purchasing a 140cm, seeing as how they are hard to find in the first place! The designs seem equally sharp, otherwise it's definitely a deal breaker at these prices.

I was impressed by this season's vintage silk and the quality of the silk screening which seemed to be much sharper than heretofore and did greater justice to the designs. I had always been put off by the previous 70s as they didn't feel quite right to me and the printing was nowhere near the state of the art I like in the 90cm twills but this could be the season for Tropiques, Cordages and Coach for me :-)

One thing I have noticed is that the newer 70s vintage don't seem to wrinkle as much as the ones from the first couple of years. I like the size and the drape of the vintage.

Hi- I just saw this ad in the new issue of w magazine in the us edition. Anyone knows the design and size of the scarf on the model? It looks pretty cool and I want one!

This is the Astrologie Nouvelle Perfore GM 140 Summer Twill :love:

There are tiny holes perforating the entire scarf. This scarf is gorgeous.

So, does anyone know if any more SS2013 scarves will be posted anytime soon, any where at all? I thought the animated white version of Laboratorie du Temps in a recent email from H was an ominous sign that we must purchase all of A/W 2012 before we will get anymore of SS2013. (It's like having to clean your plate during dinner. Sit there until you finish it all).
