I just got my Speedy 30B yesterday and it's MIF

I would love some advice: I’m thinking of spraying my Speedy B 30 in Mono with Apple Garde to protect the vachetta. I read somewhere to use two coats on it and to cover the canvas while spraying. What are your thoughts on treating with Apple Garde? I have other LV pieces w/vachetta trim which I have never treated before. So, this is new territory for me. Thanks!
Everyone says apple garde works on vachetta to prevent stains. It doesnt prevent it from patina but it does slow it down. There might be bunch of videos on youtube.

Here's a pic of my Samorga insert for my Neverfull MM's in my new Speedy 35. Fits perfectly, keeps a little more structure (which I prefer), and protects the interior. I may wind up ordering the thinner version at some point but this works great with loads of room to spare!

Awesome! I sent an email yesterday to order the speedy 30 azur but havent gotten a response yet
I used AppleGuard on my mono speedy when I bought it two years ago.
- covered the canvas with paper towels held by painters tape, and sprayed the handles and trim.
- wiped dry the metal.
- applied 2-3 coats - letting it dry in between coats.
The vachetta dried completely normal with no blotches. I haven’t used it a lot so the patina has been slow to develop. The one time I was caught in a drizzle, the vachetta did not have any spots.
Since then I have used the Apple Guard on my PA DA and any light colored leather shoes and sneakers. Yesterday, I purchased a strap for my PA so I plan to apply AppleGuard before using it.
Picked up my birthday gift to me yesterday. I decided to add some splash to my speedy DE with my first bandeau. Technically, the bandeau bb matches all of my bags but I’m hooked and now want another for each of my bags.
