Good to know they make a softer one. My personal preference is nylon versus felt. I tend to be sloppy, lol, so I can easily wipe it down.

Hello speedy lovers ! I have finally decided to take the plunge on a speedy 25 in mono (buying in Europe). However I keep checking the website and it says 'unavailable'. Are they trying to make this item scarce ? I'm confused as it's such a classic ! Anyone have details on this speedy shortage ?
Hi Speedy Lovers! I'm interested in the speedy 25 in DE. DE is my fav! I don't live near a boutique so I'm relegated to ordering online from LV. I've just received the classic speedy 25 and it's adorable. I've also ordered the speedyb 25....it's pending product availability. Which do you all prefer....the classic or the bandolier? Also, do you find the classic speedy 25 opening to be easier to get your items in and out of vs the speedyb? I would like to be able to carry a compact wallet or a full size wallet if needed. TIA!

I like them both! The Speedy B is great if you prefer to wear your Speedy Crossbody or Over the Shoulder. I just sold my Speedy B 25 Monogram, so that I may purchase the Speedy Classic 25 DA (waiting for it to become available). I have a few Crossbody/Shoulder Bags presently in my wardrobe, whereas until I get my Speedy Classic, I have no Hand Helds.....

I prefer the Bandouliere version so I can have the option to use the strap when I feel like it. Once I got my first Bandouliere, I never went back. I sold all my regular canvas Speedys as I found myself using the strap more than I thought. It’s convenient to have and you can always take it off when you hand carry your bag. I usually keep my strap in a drawstring dust bag inside my purse until I use it. I now have 7 Speedys and all but 1 is a Bandouliere version. I know there are many folks here who prefer the aesthetics of the original Speedy and would prefer that look over the Bandouliere. You just have to figure out which you like better. If you don’t mind the look of the Bandouliere strips running down both sides of the bag and you know you’ll use the strap, I say get the Speedy B. I believe the opening on both bags is the same. I don’t recall there being any differences in the bags I owned. Good luck deciding!
It seems a lot of folks have trouble deciding between DE versus mono with the vachetta. To each his own, but today when I reached over to pick up my bag and my hands still had some water on them from the sink, I was so thankful I went with DE and NO vacchetta. No worries about stains, or turning a ugly color. (I have seen lots of nice patinas, but I have seen some really ugly colors as well). Just in case anyone is still on the fence about this, I wanted to share positive words about DE.
The CloverSac organizer for the Speedy 30 came today and it works perfectly. I love the Speedy slouch and did not want to alter that. And this does not. It does support the bottom of the bag for those who do not want that to sag. And there are no rough or sharp edges. In fact it is smaller than the inside of the bag, so no damage will ensue. It weighs next to nothing, is customizable and can be wiped down easily. I originally said I would not use an organizer, but changed my mind.

All in all a very nice well made product that is way cheaper than Samorga. So unless you really want felt, try this one. (I do not work for nor sponsor this brand, lol. Just an enthusiastic buyer)

It is a new color for them. i forgot to tell you that I ordered it on 2/14 and it arrived 2/21.
I think a solid strap would look better. The strap is pretty, but it would probably look better on a solid color leather bag. And even though I wear monogram all year round, this strap looks a bit summery for the monogram print, in my opinion.
