So I recently got a Speedy 25 DE (MIU) and after a while I noticed that the stitches were coming undone on one of the chaps.
So I had it exchanged and ended up with a MIF speedy instead!!! I am BEYOND excited!!! It's PERFECT!

Do you know why it gets dark and stained and looks rusty? I clean it with toothpaste but
the days come back to be the same

Makes a lot of sense because I’ve made three online orders since sheltering at home (key pouch, Victorine, and cosmetic Pouch) and all three have been MIF. I guess I lucked out with the Speedy bc that one was purchased in store- Saks in Chevy Chase.

Thank you so much for posting! I was able to find one today MIF! YAY! I honestly kinda gave up until you posted yours--so thank you again!! I think it must be because of the current situation that I was able to find one! It is being shipped to me! So hope it is in good condition--no weird smells which unfortunately I've experienced on some bags which I just can't deal with! Enjoy your MIF speedy!!!

It really was! I just wasn't expecting it. When I opened the box I immediately went to checking the stitching and I was like wow they did REALLY good on this one. Then I checked the side tab and saw the "made in France" lettering and my heart skipped a beat. I am still like over the moon because I know they are so hard to get a hold if in the US.

Same thing happened to me when I nabbed the Speedy 25b DE MIF about two weeks ago. My CA and I squealed when we noticed the MIF stamp.

If the leather side strap says “Louis Vuitton Paris Made in France” then it’s made in France. If it says “Louis Vuitton Paris” then it’s not. Check serial code behind the inside pocket flap.

Hi! If you look at the very last picture I posted it shows where the "made in France" lettering is on the leather side strap on the bag. Hope that helps!

I have the original speedy 25. I found a tag inside the bag that says “made in the USA with imported materias” is this normal?

Yes that is normal for bags that are made in the USA.
