Not sure if this will help anyone or not. I just got back from Paris where I purchased my first speedy (speedy b 30). Prior to going to Paris, I researched a ton about what size I wanted. I’m tall (5’9) and have a medium build. I had a hard time finding mod shots of someone my size, so here she is. This is the day I got her, so excuse the awkward bathroom selfies. Had to send my sister a picture right away (not pictured is the luggage tag with the Eiffel Tower hot stamp that the SA gave me for FREE)

Love it and it looks great on you. Even crossbody looks nice on you with it being a 30!

This is very helpful! I'm 5'9" as well and roughly the same size so I appreciate the mod shots! This is a great size for you. I'm thinking Speedy b 30 as well but not decided on the canvas. I have 2 mono bags already so leaning toward DE or a LE print.

Im debating between classic 25 monogram and 25 B in DA for my birthday. I’m a total speedy girl! Have the classic 30 DE, MWT, speedy 25 b in DE and monogram. My first speedy was the classic 25 in monogram which I sold years ago. But I miss it! There’s just something about the classic speedy in monogram and the 25 was perfect for me. But then I think DA would be nice for spring summer in the bandouliere version. I have time to think about this—-my birthday is in the spring. Would love any and all opinions from my fellow speedy fans!!

Girl, yes. I looked for forever and couldn’t find mod shots of someone my size. The 30 is perfect on my. I ordered a samorga organizer to keep the shape since I don’t carry much

So I have been seriously debating with myself, I already have the speedy b 25 but in thinking that maybe I need something a little larger just for a random occasions like the 30. How many of you out there have both of these sizes? And why?

My first was classic monogram preloved 25 (before B came out). I ended up selling it because I thought I could not do the smaller opening.
A few years later, Speedy B came out. I waited for a bit. Then when I was in Paris (three years ago June) I bought Speedy B25 in DE. The 25 is perfect for crossbody. I got used to the opening.
Last year I ordered MWT Speedy B30. I tried it only a few times but it felt awkward. I don't carry a lot of stuff and wearing it on my shoulder or crossbody felt like a duffle bag. I sold it.
If I ever decided on another 30, it would be classic and not B version. I would be surprised if I ever went back to 30 but never say never as our needs sometimes change over the years (maybe I will carry more later). I am tempted by mono in 25 again but not sure between classic and B. I guess I just like the extra options for crossbody/shoulder wear.

I love how the speedy comes in several sizes and color options. One size does not fit all. I swear by the 30. My SIL loves her 40b!

Silly question, but when you get home for the night, where do y’all put your speedy? I typically hang my bag on a chair, but it feels wrong to do (with either the handles or the bandolier strap). I don’t want to “put it away” because I’m going to use it the next day, but I’m worried about setting it on a table or counter because of my cats.

I put mine on a shelf in my closet as soon as I get home so I’m putting it away even though I’m using it the next day. I don’t want mine in reach of my dogs or cats either. I also don’t want mine near the living area/kitchen to prevent food smells from cooking dinner.

I have an IKEA Hemnes shoe cabinet in my mud room and place my bags on that when I get home as that's where I enter the house. It's just wide enough to hold all my bags including my Petit Noe (my "bulkiest" bag). If for some reason I don't want my bag sitting on the shoe cabinet I put it on the safe in my closet which is on the first floor and thus still easily accessible for grab-and-go. This would be mainly in the case of my Neverfull bags which are a bit big for the IKEA shelf. They fit, but I'd still prefer they have more room/protection.

I have a bag storage system in my office that displays all my bags but those one or two in rotation stay downstairs either on the shoe shelf or on the safe in the master bedroom both on the first floor.

I also have 3 Persian cats with weepy eyes and I don't like leaving my bags accessible to them as they're VERY likely to sneeze all over my beautiful leather!

On my dresser in the master bedroom. My cat doesn’t bother it even when the strap is hanging down so I don’t worry about it being there.

Kitchen counter...We rarely cook! But I do have to watch my Doberman...he likes to counter surf and if his ball is anywhere near my bag, there's a chance he might knock the bag over or pull it off the counter in order to reach his toy.

I have a narrow shoe cabinet from IKEA in our small mud room/garage entry that fits all my bags. I didn't think my NF MM and Petit Noe would fit but they do! A Speedy would fit as well. I have 3 persian cats with weepy eyes and I don't want them sneezing and getting yuck on my vachetta!

I had my mono Speedy 30 B for a few years and it is my least used bag. I thought I was going to use it as a cross body but feel that adds a little too much bulk that way on me and do not like how the strap feels. So, thinking about getting a bandouliere strap and a bandeau. Any suggestions on which strap and bandeau? And, what size is the most comfortable shoulder strap? I think I gave up on trying to wear it as a cross body.

I have the ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER STRAP 16 MM MONOGRAM that I wear with my pochette and it works great as a crossbody. But, I think that strap is too skinny for this bag.

We are also traveling to Paris soon but heard from a friend that stores there don’t sell the speedys so this gives me hope! May I ask which store did you get your speedy b30? Thank you!
