I would just try to use it as much as possible. I think it has to have been stored improperly but canvas will revert back over time. The nineties mono canvas seems to be thicker and it’s gorgeous. I have a speedy from 2004 and it’s the same.

Hi. I wonder if anyone has checked out or owns the brand new Soufflot BB or MM in mono canvas? It does have resemblance of the speedy and the keepball. Recently just saw the BB in store and thought it was cute but I did not check it out

It’s cute but it reminds me a lot of the Pallas BB. Also it’s not different enough for me from the speedy b 25 which is so much cheaper. I wish Lv would do more

So timely as my husband and I just spent an hour with a clothes steamer on my new speedy b 25. I must have read 100s of posts online about getting the creases out with some people saying they have had the bag for years and they never came out to the other extreme with others saying that if you start using the bag it will come out in a few days. I kept mine stuffed with T-shirts for 3 days but as soon as I removed the stuffing, the creases were as prevalent as ever. My husband came across a YouTube video of someone using a steam cleaner on theirs which worked which is what my husband and I just spent an hour doing. It looks a lot better! I’m sure some on here will advise against but I couldn’t tolerate those creases. We were very careful and kept the bag covered with a towel and steamed it through the towel several times. Now I have it restuffed and am anxious to see how it looks later tonight when I remove the stuffing,
I can’t believe how much time and energy over the last three days stuffing and unstuffing and now steaming I have put into trying to make a brand new bag look presentable!
Thank you! Mine is from 2002 I bought pre loved but man, it’s kind of frustrating! I hope I don’t regret my purchase! I will keep stuffing and I think I’m going to condition it as well.
I think the more your wear it, the weight of your items and gravity will release the creases.
Will you guys show me pictures how you wear your original speedy bag with an added strap? I’m not going to splurge and buy an LV strap, I don’t want to so I ordered a cute camo one from a website but it doesn’t look right maybe it’s just me!! Preferably pics with the 35!!

Out of curiosity, what do you insert in the outer pouch?
It's not recommended to attach a strap to the handles of a Speedy that's not already a Bandouliere style. It puts strain on the canvas where the handles are attached and could tear.
Got my speedy B back yesterday from repairs - they gave a new chap - so I figured I’d post a speedy sibling portrait! I usually don’t have them both out at the same time. They’re so lovely
