Does anyone know why they made the ends of the handles puffy- the part that attaches to the bag?

I’m not seriously in love with my mono Speedy B25. I think part of it is that I really prefer a dark, vintage patina, like my Montsouris backpack and my Mini Speedy HL.
I tend to like the older model Speedy with the flatter handle part that attaches to the bag.
Any ideas how to patina it faster? Thanks:smile:

The safest way is to just wear the bag. It will develop a patina from being exposed to light and air. Some put their bag near a sunny window. There are some crazy ideas out there for darkening the leather, and I think the worst is applying any oils or lotions to the leather. This is certainly not good for the vachetta leather over time. I guess this is probably no help, but I would hate to see you do something that could hurt your bag in the long run. Others may have a suggestion for you from their personal experience since I have never done anything to accelerate the process.

Thank you! Yes, I really don’t want to put anything on it.
I think the leather strip on the side is bugging me. Maybe if it was darker, I wouldn’t notice it as much.

I’d go with the speedy b. The strap will come in handy especially when worn crossbody with shorts. U can always remove the strap and use it hand carried with dresses too.

Question for all my speedy friends - I'm thinking of purchasing the speedy b 35. I've had the 25 super cute but the small opening drove me crazy! Had the 30 and loved it but still found the opening small and struggled with the disorganization. I've had the turrennne mm and pm and loved them both for the structure and organization but found very dressy. I want a casual bag that I can be more carefree with and wonder if maybe the speedy b 35 would be perfect. I recently bought the v tote mm and absolutely adore it but it's so pretty and expensive in my opinion for to and from my work. I've been using my twice which I love but want a hand/ bigger one. I have a tote (ienea) but reAlly want a casual handheld too. Any advice appreciated!!

I have 3 Speedy 35s. I have 30s and 25s, but the 35 is my [emoji173]️! 35 holds all you need and then some! I don’t think that they look great “cross body” in the bandouliere style, but as an everyday/work bag, they are fantastic!
