I think I would choose the one from 2004. It looks to be in better shape and the vachetta isn’t as dark as the 1991 Speedy. I think the quality of canvas from 2004 will be fine. Let us know which one you pick, good luck!

Didn't know that dust bags from 2004/2005 were the linen type ones that feels rough. Not a deal breaker of course but prefer the newer softer dust bags!

Double score as seller initially thought she lost the keys to the lock so discounted $50 off the bag then ended up she found the keys and kept the discounted price for me $350 for this baby

My speedy 30 monogram!

Can’t decide to put the lock on the handle or the side tab, I heard the side tab hole wears down a lot if you hang it from the side. Where do you put your locks on the speedy classic?

Leo the Lion's bag is a World Tour Speedy. It's available online and in stores, but they've cracked down on the patches and now you have to add at least one patch in order to buy one.

My next great desire is for a carefree bag, so I am thinking either:
1. My World Tour Speedy B 30

From the slightly darkened vacheta, this speedy isn’t that old. So I’m assuming better which is that you will be able to take off the little white marks with a baby wipe without alcohol using a bit of force. I’ve done it on my own 2 older speedys, white marks right off.

It's a 1991 piece but overall vachetta has not gone very dark yet. If the seller does not agree to cancel and I left with no choice but to pay for it, I will try that method. Really crossing my fingers they are not peeling or bubbling. Thanks!

I have three Speedies. Speedy 30 in monogram and Damier Azur, both classics. Speedy 30 B in Damier Ebene. The DE is very carefree. But, the patina on my other Speedies has been developing quite nicely so they are becoming very easy to carry.
