I have a DE speedy 25 and a pre-loved mono speedy 30. The 30 is really showing its age (tab tore off, handles cracked). My birthday is in a few weeks and I'm going to LV. Wondering if its too much to get another speedy B in DE in 30 or get the mono...can't decide if I want the 30 with the strap or not. I really like carrying it top handle but the 25 I always use the strap. Anyone have both sizes in B? DE? I'm also thinking that down the road I might want to just get the vachetta replaced on the mono speedy since the canvas is really thick and the hardware is brass not "gold colored". I know these aren't real world problems but need to make a decision soon before the opportunity goes away!
I would get the DE speedy b 30. I personally don't like DE, I love the monogram, and have that in speedy b 30 and speedy b 35. The strap is a useful option once you've had one, and the rain proofness of the DE is great. You can always get the monogram redone later on....
