I would get the 30. I purchased a Speedy B 25 last year and sold it after a few months. The 25 looked liked a little girls bag on me (I'm 5'9"). It was also hard to get things in and out of the bag and I don't think I carry that much in my bags. Yes, when I'm about to pull the trigger, I like to goby myself. If the trip is for research then I don't mind company, opinions.
Yes. I would have kept it. The tab wouldn't bother me. It isn't a hand sewn item but each is individually crafted. I was debating to exchange it but the nearest LV store from me is 6 hours away. So I decided to keep it. The stitches are off on the vachetta tab. Would you of kept it anyways?
I totally get where you are coming from... and as weird and picky as I am, I would probably see my SA and casually say something like, "Can I show you something? Do you feel this is irregular for LV?" If they are aghast and want to swap it out fine, but if they gave you the whole "your bag is unique" spiel then I would just blow it off. But I would show it to them and then I'd feel better about it I think. You'll always know your bag from others. It doesn't diminish it's value I don't believe. But it's your investment.

I don't think it's silly, you think your friends wouldn't want to/enjoy being there, and it's an emotional purchase for you.
Take yourself out for the day, enjoy your time in store, and treat yourself to a delicious and guilt-free lunch somewhere wonderful
I was able to buy a small luggage tag at the time I was also purchasing my wallet and I had no problems. I had to wait about 20 minutes to get it hot stamped. I'm in the states and this was an LV inside Neiman's.Also my LV store say that I cannot purchase the LV luggage tag to go on to my new speedy. I really hoped to get a luggage tag hot stamped for it. Can anyone tell me if it's true that you cannot buy the luggage tag? When I spoke to LV European customer services she said it's at the SA discretion if they give me a spare or not
I also was able to get a luggage tag and not at time of purchase. Hot stamp took 3 days.
I just ordered mine from the store I usually go through. Headed to Oahu in a few weeks and don't want to risk them not having luggage tags. Also super excited about getting a speedy b 25 in mono from there. May try to scoop up a few other things!!! My SA did say pricing is lower in the store and wants a full report on customer experience there. I'm geeked.
I bought my speedy b 30 today and they allowed me to purchase the luggage tag! I couldn't believe it! I sent it to be hot stamped [emoji173]️
FYI...I was in Maui in Dec. and the SA said they don't carry the luggage tags anymore since people would only buy those and not the bags. He was able to hot stamped the tag I brought with me. It took 2 days, so make sure you allow enough time for them to stamp it.
Here is my new speedy b 30 in DE. Couldn't help but purchase the key pouch to match as it fits nicely on the D ring inside . Thank you for letting me share. I'm so happy!!!!
