So I got a Speedy B 30 today and when I opened it I noticed that there was a lock already attached to the outside and the zipper pulls looked scratched. The lock said Made In France, then I opened the bag and there was a lock in a pouch. This lock did not say made in France. I am wondering if I got a display model or used bag. It was final sale since I exchanged something else for it(never heard of this). What do you all think? It looks new other than those things.

Did you get it online or a store? Can you go to a store to see what they say?

I called and she told me it was brand new that the warehouse probably put it there. I told her about the scratches but she was dismissive about it. Guess I'm stuck with it. It's fine. Like I said it looks new other than that.

Similar thing happened to me and I just kept it as it was made in France unless the scratches look deep, I'd let it go and enjoy the bag

Love this photo too--stunning! I have the Speedy b 25 in mono and love it but also think the Classic is gorgeous! Considering the DA in 30 because I prefer that print without the vachetta on the sides.

I have the 30 DA... it's so good it makes me want the other canvases. I also have a 2002 Epi Speedy 25. My least carried bag. I get zipper-hands every time I reach in it.
