Check out this brand new, unused 2015 Speedy I found on ebay; I don't feel quite so bummed about the wrinkling on my bag because it's not as bad as this. Seems the newer leather is definitely more prone to wrinkling.

Yes "dainty" is the perfect way to describe it! I notice the vachetta they are using now is also softer & more prone to wrinkling. I wish they would leave well enough alone. I am not a fan of the quality of the newer materials they are using. They are not changing the bags for the better imo. I do love my Retiro NM but I am not a fan of the new Estrela though (looks like a mono canvas Celine bag :/ ). I wish they would bring back the more classic styles in the older quality canvas & vachetta.

I agree completely, and I also miss the lined pocket! I think the new changes to the speedies are just to reduce their costs and not to improve quality for customers, but that is just my opinion. I could be wrong! Either way, I still love my speedy B - it's totally my favorite bag!

Agree! I hate the wrinkly vachetta but realize that bags are not going to stay looking pristine forever. The Speedy B is the perfect bag in both terms of style & function. It's just so hard not to be picky & expect perfection for what these bags cost & knowing the prices will only increase.

Yes it's normal. my Azur Neverfull trim wasn't wrinkled at the trim when I got it, but now it's wrinkled slightly at the front where my arm rests. That is just from periodically modeling the bag in the mirror (lol) as I haven't even used that NF yet due to all the rain we've been getting. It shouldn't bother us too bad though because it will happen with use anyway. I never had the wrinkly vachetta issue on my Azur Speedy, my mono Speedy B is wrinkled at the top part of the chapes where the line of stitching is above the rivets. (I havent even used it yet, & it wasn't like that when I bought it earlier this month). I exchanged my Ebene Speedy back in 2013 because it came shipped to me with the one handle perfectly smooth but the other handle was wrinkled so badly it was unacceptable. They said wrinkling is normal but if it looks like the leather is going to crack then that's when repair / return is in order.

I would like to know wether DA white surface easily getting jeans colour transfer upon wearing cross body with long straps?

I dont worry about vachetta strap only main concern on DA white surface due it friction on my behind...

Anybody else noticing corners on speedy b DE wearing very quickly? I have only used mine off and on a few days a week for less than a month and am noticing they are wearing to black already[emoji22]. I am very careful and it doesn't set on the floor and never let it bump into anything.

This is the comparison on corner wear of my speedies in DE. The speedy b 25 (new model from dec 2014) I have had a little less than a month and might have used 14 days total. I am very careful not to bump it into anything. Was bought off eBay but was new, never used. Had no corner wear, I checked it out good. Does feel like a more pliable canvas though. The speedy 35 (old model) I have had about a year and have used off and on for months and has no rubbing. I am very upset. Wish there was something to put on to protect the corners. SUPER UPSET!! [emoji24]

Thanks for the pictures. It honestly doesn't look bad to me, but I hear ya. It's upsetting with The price increases and the declining quality in the canvas bags.. I'm going to start saving for the empreinte/epi line, I haven't heard many issues with those bags.
