Oh so what if I used the bag and the wrinkling/ bubbling problem occur on the handle, I can't return the bag for a refund or exchange since it's used? I never returned or exchange at LV before so I'm very unfamiliar with the policy. My SA doesn't even bother to tell me since she knows I don't return anything once I leave the store and I haven't have a defective LV ...yet
I think it depends on the LV store and their discretion. I've heard people say that they've noticed "defects" with their bags and brought them back and their SAs were very nice and replaced the bag or allowed them to choose something else of same value. BUT I've also read other people tell how theirs were not as nice and even a slight sign of use... and they've been turned away from returning their bag. I'm pretty sure at my store they'd turn me away. the SAs at my store just aren't so nice.

Congrats on getting your Portobello. I found one in MIF too. I should of done the same thing as you. :-) I can't pick it up on Monday and I get off from work at 6pm.

I was there today and still debating between the Artsy and Portobello. There seems to be an issue with both handles as it crease.
Personally... I really want the portobello because it's in damier ebene and I am always looking for a new bag, but if I could only have ONE, I'd choose artsy.<3

However: I do believe she is more high maintenance. I think the portobello would be more practical. I wouldn't have to worry about rain, she would be easier to just "throw on the shoulder"... she'd be a better everyday bag.

The Artsy is a handbag not a shoulder bag so kind of hard to compare, and never liked the Sully's thick strap so never tryed it on.. I'm sorry, I'm really no help.
I have heard great things about the strap drop of the sully. And sure the portobello would be similar too. The larger sizes of course, not the pm's. lol.

I too have the artsy and if you can put up with the strap drop of the artsy -- which I feel okay about because I have a petite frame, then you'll do just fine with the other mentioned bags I'm sure!

Got it today!!!!

I took lots of detailed pics, it's still very stiff! Also, it's made in France!!! Although my made in stamp is missing some red... Lol

Also, I checked out the inside, it has one giant zipper pocket and 2 slip pockets. The chocolate lining is dreamy! But the inside of the bag is very dark! Lol

I also tried I with a long strap and it doesn't work. Even on the shortest setting it hangs down to my knees. :(

Here are some detailed pics!

Is this the GM?

Been using my PM for a week now and my handle has no wrinkling at all - really loving this bag. Here she is at work this morning.

I tried on the portobello today and it did not say "to me" $1500. I left it there and felt happier with a purchase of shoes and jewelry.

Honestly do any of the CANVAS bags actually scream the price tags that are attached? lol..
Enjoy your shoes and jewelry :)
