The Row Sideby Bag opinions

I have been eyeing this bag for the longest time and I am a huge fan of the Row. I managed to get this sideby at a good price( for this brand!) of £780. But I am still unsure and worried about bag getting dirty in such a light colour. Please tell me what your opinions are? TIA

What kind of leather is it? Maybe you can treat it to protect the leather from denim transfer and other stains.
