Also think it's weird there's no strap, and so expensive for what it is!! I know the Row is pretty notorious for their high prices but I was still pretty surprised.

I think it's elegant but lacks the easy relaxed luxury I like about The Row. Feels a bit formal

Yes, the pricing on the Nylon ones totally baffles me…. Which leads me to another question: are the leather bags like the Margaux handstitched (to explain *their* price at least)?Btw , I returned the nylon Park bag posted above

You could call one of the stores and talk to a bag person about the bag construction. Margaux is stunning. I currently have 4 Row bags 2 of the 4 bags were made before 2015 when the price point of all their bags was insane but the quality of the older bags is amazing. The two newer bags are very nice one is definitely worth it‘s retail price but the other not so much.

I'm not into nylon or shell bags either, but they have their place. My Prada nylon bags were bought for travel and bad weather use and they're great - very practical designs. I bought Burberry nylon for same purpose and it discoloured after a short time.
The Row for me is all about elegant, minimalist designs that are made well out of awesome leathers. I'll give the nylon bags a miss.

While I wait ro see the chrome blue nubuck in person, I came across this red Margaux in 17 - and just realized the handles are inside as opposed to all other Margaux models out there. What’s that about? Did I miss something?

I'm loving all the deep blue colors this season, so this Iowa Duffle stole my heart. It comes with a long strap too. Not what I actually need but one can dream.
I love the styling in this picture too, I just wish they had this for all bags - it's so much easier to understand the proportions when you see a product image of an actual human carrying the bag instead of just the bag floating in white space.
