You are correct. That is cute bag, but 28 cm would be a bit too deep for me. I am afraid that it would be hard for me lug around and it would take forever if started trying to locate stuff that had fallen to the bottom. I agree with you. Cute bag though.

Coming back to this to say I ended up downsizing my collection and I got rid of all my flap bags including my box bags and box bag dupes. The larger size was too big for me and the teen size held nothing. I just didn't reach for my flap bags because they were fussier to use than my Polene Neuf and Polene Huit bags. I like a satchel and that's what I'm sticking to.

Doesn't stop me from looking at flap bags or other bags I know I won't like using and don't need. They won't bring me any added value over the bags I already have. My collection meets all my needs but the eyes wander...

It's sad because the box bag is such a gorgeous design. I think it would work great if the only bag you have is this and you take it to all occasions and commit to using it all the time. Otherwise I turn to other options when I have them.

I totally understand you, I am also not a big fan of flap bags but I am really liking the YSL niki, so still thinking about it, I found a preloved one for a decent price. My thoughts are, I can always give to my daughter.

I tried on YSL bags before and I wanted to love them but none of them felt special on me, if that makes sense. They don't add anything to me, in other words. But I read a lot about YSL's life so I really wanted something YSL. I bought some vintage ysl earrings and a small heart brooch and I love those. I feel so cute in those.
