I grabbed the mono because it‘s a bit more under the radar than the reverse (as far as you can be under the radar with logomania lol).
It is going to arrive tomorrow as well, will post some pictures! Given the reports in this topic I honestly expect the worst but let’s see....
Great minds think alike! Lol. Yes Im sort of expecting the worse, crooked logo, uncentred lock, cracked glazing. But lately the bags have been looking good so that gives me hope! I think it will be a great day satchel. As chanel is not offered online, lately I’ve been scoring some pouches as well on the website (toiletry pouch 15, 19) so I will have some organization and accessories to go with it

I purchased the metis in mono last week and today it was here - it is made in Italy in week 39 of 2019.
Actually I think the bag is beautiful - the problem is that I kinda have to much stuff with me - the speedy 25 holds it like nothing and the metis can‘t fit. I am thinking about downsizing to a smaller wallet but I dont know which one. I am not even really sure if this would help or if I should also keep the mini pochette out... cam you show me how you fit your stuff inside or how you learned to downsize for the metis so you take only the really important stuff? The thing is I have to wear 2 phones with me and my pocket agenda - also my 6 ring key holder and my keypouch and my glasses. This kinda takes all the space away for mini pochette or josephine wallet - I could fit everything inside only for the glasses the was no space anymore - now I put the bag back in the box because I feel really bad that I wont enjoy it if I cant carry the things I need

If you HAVE to carry those things mentioned everyday, then I’m sorry to say the Métis May not be for you.
I will say I can a zippy compact wallet when I carry mine.
It arrived and I inspected it. Seems okay to me. The lock is slightly tilted but considering that the rest seems fine, it’s a keeper.

Looks SO fabulous with the wider reverse strap! It looks amazing on you. I never thought the PM would work on a guy but you really rock it. Definitely a keeper.
Is your case for your glasses big and bulky? If so, could you get a smaller case or soft case for them?
I have downsized to a minuscule card case as I just carry a couple of credit cards, a few bills, and no coins but of course that might not be practical for you. Would it make sense to just use the bag on weekends or evenings?

I tried this today again and suddenly everything fits... it doesnt look that bulky I guess - but still I want do downsize and looking for another wallet
