I had the same date code for the bag with really dull canvas. Mine was MIU. I went in to the store to return it and saw this PM with braided handle and really good canvas which made me feel good that I am not really going crazy, the canvas indeed was very dull
The braided one is almost $500 more than regular which to me didn’t make sense, I will wait for my perfect PM

They are really getting better with the alignment issue. I mostly see perfect bags now. Maybe all the complaints and returns were worth it! Yay!
Mine is also new. It does not have that bump. Also, is the star on your strap aligned to the middle?
