What??? I’ve never heard of a particular customer being prohibited from buying a PM to replace a defective bag. Some people have bought this model 3 or 4 times in search of one at an acceptable standard of quality. They won’t let you buy only your second? How bizarre. Is this a standard practice, or peculiar to this one boutique? If it a “known fault” with the bag that they cannot remedy through improving the design or materials or craftsmanship, then they should stop selling it altogether rather than singling out a particular customer. If you’re ready to give up on the PM and exchange for something else, great. If you want to give the PM another shot, I would call Client Services and demand a remedy. Some people have had better luck with the bag the second or third time around.

I LOVE this color (taupe/ beige/ grey) and the GHW combo. It's the perfect neutral color. If I don't already have a PM in canvas and am on ban island, I'd totally get this bag. But since this is your bag, you have to love the color.

I love it too! And if you find yourself needing a pop of color, finding a bandeau to match this would NOT be hard at all. Just about any bandeau would look fabulous. I’m so jealous! If I weren’t so accident prone and if I didn’t have messy little ones I would definitely invest in this color. Maybe one day!

Yep- I checked and mine cannot stand up on its own as well... at least when its empty.
Is there something wrong?! I didn‘t bother until now :hrmm:

Mine is fairly new as well, purchased just before Christmas last month. It stands on its own but tips forward a bit. It didn’t occur to me that it might be a problem. If it is, it’s not one that bothers me.

Thank you for the replies! I have the pm in Empreinte also, and that bag stands completely on its on, no tipping forward. So I just wanted to check to make sure I didn’t get a defective bag. This is my first canvas purchase and I had with some miraculous luck and insane amount of stalking ordered one in the second week of Jan this year. However the second I pulled it out of the box, the front bottom section was obviously uneven. It was so noticeable, I could fit an entire finger between the true bottom of the bag and to where the bottom of the front compartment ended. It was so devastating. So I stalked the site yet again and got another. This one is perfect in all the ways, except that it falls forward and can not stand up on its own. Id hate to return it but if it’s defective I want quality for what I’m paying for it!

My bag couldn't stand straight either. Nonempty . Not filled with it. In the end, I returned it because putting it on my back all the time and everywhere was a bad option for me. Now I wonder if I should try my luck again. My friend has a leather bag. And there is no such problem :huh:

mine only stands on its own when there something inside.
And it still tilts forward a bit. But won’t fall!!!

My mono PM has no unevenness whatsoever.
It’s pretty close to flawless. Just recently bought mine.

Just checked my empreinte PM too.
It baaarely stands on its own. This one actually has a slight tilt to the back :D
So I guess it’s not a sign of flaw. The empreinte PM is absolutely flawless and I’ve had it for years. Love this bag!

She's beautiful! I saw this color at my local boutique and was totally in love. Do you know if it's seasonal? My only fear would be getting color transfer, but the PM in Tourterelle looks very classy and timeless.
