I'm on the market for this purse and tempted to purchase pre-loved, I wanted to ask you guys, how do you avoid super fakes? I'm terrified of getting a super fake and I cannot get one at the boutique because they are always sold out 
I've been putting off getting this empreinte PM as I already have 2, but the black is just so pretty and classic. Now I have 3 and debating on if it's overboard.
Just got mine today. I’m in Paris on vacations.
My first attempt was at Le Bon Marche’s Louis Vuitton and was out of stock. The SA wished me good luck finding one lol
Then today, the first thing I did in the morning was going to Champs Elysées’ LV before opening. There was a queque with about 50 people at 9AM. As soon as I entered and had a SA to help me, I asked for the PM and she had some in stock. She said it runs out of stock early in the morning, so if you want to get one and are in Paris, go to this store in the morning!

I have 3 now: reverse, monogram and cherry berry. I would like to add a black and marine rouge as well.

No expert in spotting super-fakes but all I can say is that you should try getting the PM by stalking the website. I am looking at fashionphile, the realreal and anns fabulous finds. Of all three, the better one seems to be Anns fabulous finds since they dont have any negative reviews and no customers have complained about having received a super fake (the other two have).
There are also a lot of people selling on ebay, that look authentic in quality and price, but I'm just not that trusting lol
I actually got lucky yesterday! I kept refreshing and suddently I saw a "place in cart" button. I managed to buy it successfully and sure enough, after my purchase was complete, it said out of stock again
