Yes I purchased the Bag Haven hardware protectors for my PM’s and my Favorite MM I left the clear plastic protectors on that came with the bags but when it started to peel away I applied the Bag Haven ones. They are noticeable when you look closely but not from far away. I’d rather see the plastic protector then the scratched up hardware that is sure to happen from opening and closing the bag.

Thanks for posting. I agree that I’d rather see the plastic over scratches. Also glad that the Bag Haven protectors cover the whole front of the lock. The clear film that came on my bag has a hole over the trademark symbol and I keep trying to put the lock in that. I need better glasses.

You’re welcome :). It comes with three pieces - one for the bottom hardware and two for the hardware on the flap (front/back)

I have one on my mono PM. It’s more noticeable than the film LV put on but only if you look closely, like others have said, it’s better than having scratches seeing that it scratches so easily

Thanks for posting pics! I finally got my hands on the reverse PM and plan to do the same thing - leave all the plastic until it peels then replace with the Bag Haven protectors that everyone raves about. I'll have to order it soon so it's ready to go when the time comes.

gah. feel like crying but am impressed with LV's service. So I had a 3 year old PM in monogram - glazing was in amazing condition but the canvas cracked at the folds :( Brought it into LV and they refunded to me in store credit - I just topped up for a PM in Empreinte Noir. Couldn't stand to get another monogram to have the same problem happening to me. Moreover, if I wanted to resell the bag in the future, I'd probably have to baby the monogram bag.

No more monogram for me man !

I ordered the Bag Haven hardware covers just in time. The protective cover that was on it from LV is starting to peel off. Hope my Bag Haven order gets here before it completely falls off.

Hi!

I got my hands on the Pochette Metis twice. I wasn't really happy with the first one so I ordered another one to compare. I will return one of them. Which one do you think looks best? :-) The left one is made in France and the right one is made in Italy. I'm kind of thinking that the made in France one looks slighty crooked.. But I might be totally wrong.

Please help a girl out! :) Which one do you prefer?

I don’t know if it’s the lighting but it appears that the bag on the right and on the bottom has brighter more contrasting LV monograms. It seems to pop more.
