Just lost my reverse metis due to glazing issues on both the strap (replaced yesterday) and then the purse itself today. I have a store credit which the manager at LV is holding onto because I wanted another reverse but maybe I should let it go. I bought this purse in March.

Oh no!! I'm so sorry to hear about your Metis, especially this early on. I'm starting to have the same issue with my Reverse as well. I just noticed today that the canvas on the strap is fraying in some spots along the edges. I'm glad it's just the strap, but I'm worried that the bag itself isn't far behind. I've worn it maybe 12 times since I bought it in June and I baby my bags. It's so frustrating! Here's hoping that your next bag has no issues.

My pochette Métis ( a replacement after the first one ordered and returned had issues with it) which came in 2 days ago. When it came in, the box was damaged which had an impact on my bag as well, I think. I have look online for how the bag looks but I don’t know if (from attached picture) this is a structural/ symmetry problem? Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Cream/ivory is one my fave colours so I have lots of clothes to avoid the dreaded denim/dark colour transfer, lol fingers crossed
Do you think that issues with this bag are bound to happen sooner than later? The way the canvas is folded makes is seem that the canvas is constantly under pressure and will eventually crack.

I'm wondering about the new braided handle styles. Is this an attempt to correct some of the flaws of the original PMs (mine was recalled) or simply a style decision?

Actually all SAs at any boutique can view the existing inventory and where. It seems that Texas has the most inventory. I went to a local boutique got assigned a SA who I did not know previously. He just searched their system and was able to tell me which store has what inventory. I got mine by paying in advance then a month later I got a call to pick up the bag. That was June last year.
Yeah that’s what I thought . When I talked to an SA here in Austin about wanting one he laughed and said they were hard to find and didn’t bother to look up available inventory for me. That was back in November. I may try again.
