Yes! I couldn’t believe it. He said that they’re dissolving a lot of the canvas pieces. I don’t know what this means for all their products but he said the pochette Métis is being dissolved.

I can understand the canvas PM being discontinued given the issues. I would be sad to see a lot of the canvas go away. Last year, I purchased a mono Artsy because I was afraid when the rumors started of limiting canvas bags. Hopefully speedies and NF's will make cut.

I know! I was just thinking of buying a speedy ... but now that they may be going to be discontinuing the canvas style I’m wondering if it’s worth it.

It would be more worth it if they are discontinuing, because then no one would be able to get them. There’s is no way they are stopping canvas speedys though- that is an iconic bag. The neverfull is popular, but not iconic.

My mono and reverse both have white interior mechanism pieces (made 28th and 26th weeks of 2017, respectively).

I looked and could not see that anyone had replied to you yet.

Both my PM's (a mono and reverse) are made in the USA. I ordered both mine online in August 2017; and they were made in the 28th and 26th week of 2017. I wear both regularly in rotation and have not had any issues with either.

Congrats on your PM, I hope you have been enjoying it; it really is a great bag!

Awesome news!!!! I’m so glad to hear :) i took mine out for the first time yesterday and loved it!!!

Ok here is my next question.
So my Métis needs to be replaced. My store said the next one that comes in will be mine. It could take a while so I have to try to be patient.
Should I order one online if I catch it in stock, then take it to the store to return and I will get that one in exchange for my defective one? Or should I just be patient and wait for the store to get one in???

In my opinion, there’s no harm in attempting both of these strategies. :)
