Hi all, is the PM in Empriente Noir heavy? Everyone says the canvas bags are lighter but I'm also reading the the empriente straps are more comfortable. Thoughts? TIA!
I never had the chance to compare them but I find the empreinte bag very light (but maybe I just got accustomed to carrying heavy bags over the years). However, depending what you put in it, will be the test. When buying a bag in a store, I always put in it what I think I’ll be carrying, and see how everything fits and how it hangs etc. And walk around to see if it works for me (not just looks good) but I never see anyone else do this!

When I was at the boutique they wouldn't allow me to put my things in the speedy I was looking at. I thought that was weird but I am always putting them on my shoulder or hand carry and dancing around in front of the mirrors! lol

My bag had developed some minor cracking in the glazing where the flap flexes when you open the bag. I also had a popped stitch on the back zipper pocket. I am not sure why it was deemed defective - my guess is it may have been too labor intensive to fix the stitch. My ikat NF melted. My PM was not melting like my NF. That was a disaster like your speedy.
Can I ask how long ago this was? My glazing is coming apart from the canvas. I still haven’t heard if they will reglaze it or replace it. I wish it would take so long

My PM in mono I just picked up from the store - after ordering online. So far it seems pretty good! Hoping I don’t run into any issues but glad to hear overall Lv is standing behind their products. Overall pretty happy with it and can’t wait to start using it! It’s made in the USA. Does anyone have one that’s made in the US? Any thoughts on how it’s holding up? I really wanted a made in France but it’s honestly seems like luck of the draw.

I dropped my bag off on Mother's Day. I received a text on May 29th that my bag was back. I never heard the voice mail on my home phone that it could not be repaired. I went to the store on the 31st and found out it was defective. Good luck with your bag! How long have they had it?

What was their reason? How the heck are you supposed to know if all your things will fit? That’s ridiculous! Better to find out in the store than buy it, take it home, and then have to bring it back for a refund because it doesn’t work for you!

I brought my bag in and my SA took pictures instead of sending the bag in. She told me to keep using it and would try to get an answer with the photos first. That was a week and a half ago, but since then it has gotten worse. I keep taking pictures and sending them to my SA. I'm not worried, I know they will make it right one way or another, I just wish it didn't have to take so long..... I either want it replaced or reglazed, and both will take a while. To replace it my SA has to track down one, to re-glaze it I'll be without the bag for months probably. I can't start either process yet though because I'm waiting to hear back. Sigh...

When I went into the store, I asked to see repairs. Since they thought it was wear and tear and it was 2 years old (not used much - it was more of a winter weekend bag for me), I was prepared to pay for the repairs hoping that repair service center would comp it later. When I had my last repair done for glazing about 2 years ago, I think it was about 4 to 6 weeks. Sorry that your bag had issues so soon. I hope you get an answer soon. I think the waiting is more stressful than anything.

Is this normal? My new rose have uneven lining on the front, it can’t be right for a two thousand dollar bag right? ( after they increased price today it’s more close to three grand).

I agree. The waiting stinks. I’m continuing to use it in the meantime because I can’t live without this bag, but this little stressor in the back of my chest won’t let up!!
Did you end up having to pay for any repairs??

No, I didn't have to pay for repairs and the deemed it unrepairable. The store didn't have any PM's in stock when I went in so I used the store credit for the speedy b 25 in noir which I think I will get more use out of it than my noir PM. Speedy is more of a daily bag since I can toss in a water bottle or scarf in the winter. I still want a mono PM in the worst way, but I just think I may spend too much time looking it over for cracking that I may not enjoy the bag. I lost an ikat NF to melting after about 5 years. From the time I knew it was an issue about 2 years in, I always felt like I was waiting for the inevitable to happen to my bag.
