Awww so sorry to hear you still haven't found a PM Reverse, that you are completely happy with. Although, I thought you did awhile ago.

I love that you haven't settled, and also love your tenacity in trying to get one that you are completely satisfied with. I can imagine it is frustrating, well, you know after the third PM I received, I stop ordering via the web. I just couldn't take it...

Have you tried acquiring one through the boutique--contacting an SA, putting in a request, or being added to the waitlist? It may or may not take a while (some people seem to get the bag without having to wait a long period of time, I guess it just depends), but you might come out better. But, at the same, it may still have flaws, and I don't know what flaws are absolute deal-breakers for you. I really hope you can find one, that you are completely satisfied with. It is a beautiful bag, and the Reverse has grown on me. I actually want this one too, for Winter, as I think Mono is more Spring/Summery, or at least for me. Although, I do know it can be used all year around.

Anyways, I feel your pain. And, there is nothing wrong with taking a break; a break is always a great thing--in more ways, than one.

I am reviewing all responses posted here right now. :smile: Since I am in an area where are 2 stores quite close by and third 40 min. drive, I am (probably already was, haha!) on a wait-list in 2 of them at the same time. I double-checked for couple of times with my SAs how many folks are in the line waiting in front of me. In one store I was second in the line and in the other fifth or fourth, I do not remember now. That was weeks ago. Since I started ordering online and of course returning defected PMs back to the store where I was wait-listed, I have a suspicion that I was taken off the wait-list since I "got one". I cannot prove that, but I never heard back that one Metis is available for me as well. I know that the wait-list was really moving forward, nobody was stuck there for weeks like me...anyway...another experience with a quality of customer service at LV...

I really like this bag and I hope I will find one which will be really worth the money...I have exactly the same plan like you: to wear my Reverse in the fall and winter, since I LOVE autumn colors (from mustard yellow, orange, red, burgundy, dark green to browns) and I think the canvas is just stunning with these colors. Regular Mono I prefer for summer.

Just for a comparison: As I mentioned before today I purchased preloved
HERMES Taurillon Clemence Double Sens 45 Reversible Tote Orange Gold from Fashionphile for almost the same price like PM Reverse retail ($150 difference). I got lucky and took advantage of additional discount for already discounted items. I have no clue if the bag will be truly in Excellent condition as they claim, but my point is that !Come On!, it is Hermes! and it would be awesome to have such durable and high quality LEATHER bag from a top fashion French brand for such money...at the same time I am so sorry that LV does not qualify for such description any more...

I would love to say that I am only unlucky with this bag, but reading all the stories here plus tons of stories we are not familiar with makes me feel that it is not me who has a problem...so that is why I am so persistent with finding the best PM Reverse for me. Pls, cross fingers for me! :)

All orders show "pending order validation," when using a card. If there isn't a problem, you should soon receive an email regarding shipping.

That happened with mine but then my credit card declined it as "atypical spending" and LV was going to cancel the order.
I had to approve the charge with the card and LV over the phone.
Just make sure your payment posts through to your bank/credit and you should be fine

Sad to say my reverse, ordered online in the U.K., same day as yours is also going back

Although mine doesn't have the dodgey screw the lock is in exactly the same place as yours, slightly to the right, meaning that the left hand side pattern doesn't match up and the lock is "tricky" to open and close. When closed there's more flap on the left than the right if that makes sense making it very very slightly baggy

Yesterday I was going to keep the bag and live with these little flaws but this morning I've seen sense and
decided the difficult lock will probably cause problems down the line and so it's better to return now.

Not sure I'm doing the right thing, it's a gorgeous bag and I might not get a better one but.....?
I know it's super disappointing. I've been thinking today that if they could fix the lock issue then I would be happy to keep the bag? But then on the other hand I am thinking this is a £1260 bag it should be perfect!

I'm hearing broken that after waiting 6 months it's not perfect

I think that means the 12th week of 2017?
One of my last :) PM Reverse orders (I have to laugh, because I can already write a book about my recent PM Reverse orders and returns) was made 25th week of 2017 and that was a brand new piece, for a comparison. Yesterday I received a return, made 20. week of 2017. Therefore I think it is a return, the bag is permanently sold out and the demand is very high...not very probable it would last till today in the store...that is my opinion.

Okay. Yeah, I was thinking the boutique may be the best way to go; online doesn't seem to be working very well. You know, it's funny how that whole waitlist thing is handled, anyway. I guess it depends on the SA. I have no clue! I am not sure why some people get items so fast, and others never have their requests filled, or they have an extremely long wait. But, at this point, I'd rather wait it out, personally. I think you should try requesting again, or at least check your status (your # in line). I agree with you about the CS, though.

I watched a video recently on YT (Minks4All), discussing the PM. Supposedly, LV is going to start stocking the this bag online only. Honestly, it seems that this is already being done. The most popular items are more readily avail (popping up randomly/freq) online, in small numbers (as being rationed), as opposed to within the boutiques.



As for having both Reverse and Mono... if I had both of them, I would definitely use one during S/S, and the other during F/W. That kinda justifies having both!lol

Hopefully, you can find the Reverse, worth the money!:smile: No such thing as being unlucky. You are definitely not the one with problem.lol And, you're right, there is no telling how many stories, we never even come across.

@LVloverPNW, check this out...if you haven't received a shipping confirmation email yet, but it takes anywhere from 24-36hrs to process. Anything longer, definitely contact LV/bank or credit card company.
