Thanks for the response! I agree with your research on the PM empreinte, I've seen the same about the visibility problems on the embossing south of the flap, etc... and I wouldn't want to go through exchanges.

My eyes are set on the mono... but same, the empreinte is keeping me curious! CS said these bags are both part of the "permanent" collection for now, so maybe I'll wait and see more wear/tear videos of PM empreinte to help me decide. :smile:

I went to the Saks on 5th Avenue today and they told me they have the PM Empreinte in Noir. I picked up one that I ordered online at the Flagship store on 57th. I am now 100% positive that the noir I purchased on Tradesy was a fake.

Just received my marine rouge PM empreinte today! Passed on two pieces before settling on the one that's now mine. I've actually just only realised moments ago it's still not perfect (one side of the piping is "wavy") after coming across another tpfer's thread but I think I can/will live with it.

Btw does anyone know if empreintes are made in France, location "AR" now? (The date code, which is in the back pocket of my bag, reads AR 1127.)

I purchased both the reverse online and the infra colors the other week. my red and black one is perfect, the reverse one is nice but has 2 minor flaws. there is a tiny stitching error on the front left flap, its nothing major and three is some glue on the side leather brackets where the straps hook up. i love this bag though, i read some people being able to wipe off the glue?

Good evening everyone, i am still in shock that I have one of these bags after looking at them online and you tube videos, I've been on the wait list for a little while at my closest store but i like to try my luck with the stock online and usually it says 'add to bag' then i click and it says out of stock... but yesterday (after thinking i might actually try the black empreinte) i checked stock of the mono... it went into my bag so quick as i could i checked out, chose express delivery and here she is 24 hours later!

She is Made in Italy - what are peoples opinions with these being MII? I haven't had any experience with them as all of mine are MIF. I see a lot of people seem to reject the MIU ones, are Italy good? Is MIF better?

I have looked over the bag and first place she looks perfect, hope i was looking for the right things lol And the inside Mono print is the correct way up :smile:

:yahoo:CONGRATS on snagging one of these YAY!!!!! She looks perfect from the front - lock looks centered & straight & the flap pattern is lined up very nicely with the front!!!
