Wow congrats! I tot infrarouge PM has been discontinued already? I know some ladies here have been rather unlucky with theirs.... but mine has been fine (touch wood) and it's one of my most favourite so far.
Congrats! There were some people on the forum who had issues with theirs. I got mine in mid-December and used it everyday for more than a month and have had no issues. I actually just pulled mine out again the other day because I absolutely love it and mine still looks perfect.

Thank you!! I'm happy to know your good experience. I think the bag is sold out online at this time. I found it at the LV area, Saks. There was only one available. I was initially attracted to the color combinations. I understand the Pochette Metis is desirable in all combinations. Looking at my bag, I can understand why. It has a style I love & appears practical as well.
Sigh, I'm number #1 on my stores list for a Noir PM but no lvoe. They've only received one Noir since the bag came out, arrrgh! I've been on the list since the beginning of February and gave them my credit card and everything. I stopped by an Hermes store over the weekend and expected to be given the run around on a bag I'm interested in based on what I've read about their reputation. Instead a wonderfully nice SA bought out over 6 colors to chose from and I walked out of Hermes with a bag in the color I loved. Has the universe turned upside down?!? Lol....
What did you get and how much? I'm a bit over the wait and now I hear persistent rumours that pm mono canvas is about to be discontinued. I don't really believe that but the run around I've been given nothing really surprises me now.
So if something pops up in the ball park I'm definitely considering.

I bought a beautiful Malachite color Evelyne. Sneaking a pic in ; )) I think with tax it was $3,700? I like crossbody/shoulder bags. I'm getting a little weary of the PM wait. I'll give it another week or so and will have to rethink whether I want to wait it out. I'm not known for my patience, haha

Has anyone else heard that the pm mono canvas is being discontinued? I keep getting told this and the latest I've heard that waiting lists are closed pending a decision on may. That they are moving toward empreinte for a number of lines. Pm and a number of other mono versions will be discontinued as a result.
It doesn't sound right to me. Client services downright denied it to me on the phone but others have rung and had it confirmed, same in store. So no one really knows anything it seems.
I just don't want to go another few weeks expecting my bag only to get told I won't get one after all.
This forum seems to know about things before even LV staff so just wondering if anyone can put this to bed once and for all (and calm my anxiety [emoji12][emoji37][emoji37][emoji37])

At the end of the day, LV is a business and is looking to make a profit. No business would discontinue a product which is as popular as the mono PM (or if they did, that would be a poorly thought out strategy). Those rumours sound untrue and would likely just serve to increase short term demand as people panic. I was told in store last week they are working through the waiting list - nothing about it being discontinued.
Yeah that's what I thought too. But others are adamant that they have been told this by SA's. My first thought was are they stopping mono canvas pm to push short term sales of empreinte? If the rumours are to stop mc to raise panic and demand wouldn't they have wait lists open?
Overall I think it's not true but if it is, it's one of the most stupid decision they could make - you just never know what goes on behind closed doors. With all the quality issues there's always a possibility it's true, but I'd think it's more likely they'd refine the design in that case rather than delete one of the most popular styles currently on offer.
I'm hoping it's all bs.

I posted earlier that I my empriente Montaigne has been sent to Paris to get handles replaced. Today I got a call saying the wait for parts is too long and I can get a store credit...
Would you get the same bag again noir empriente in mm size
Or get an empriente pm - I have a nior & marine pm on hold for me they have arrive in different Sydney stores which is annoying
I was leaning towards getting the same bag as the Montaigne now cost a lot more ie I picked it up when it was first released (note glazing issue on handle is my own fault as I love using hand cream and have this problem with my other designer bags too).
When they give you a store credit is it for the amount you originally paid or current price?

good question.. i guess it depends if you really love the montaigne mm.. I think you will get the amount what you paid last time. I would ask if I can get the same bag without paying extra if I really want this bag again as it is their "fault" that they can´t replace the handles. Why should you pay more for the same bag if they can´t fix it.
You have to ask yourself if it still fits your lifestyle or you want something new.. I wouldn´t buy the bb size as i don´t like this size and i don´t like to wear it crossbody if it is without a zipper... Speedy b25, mazarine pm or PM empreinte would be my crossbody options as they are cheaper, have a closure and it fit more..
I would get the same bag if I still love it after 1-2 years otherwise I would buy a different one... the montaigne mm is really a nice bag I would like to get the same bag as the size is better than the bb size.. I love mine now but don´t know if i like it later also that much if I have the opportunity to get store credit....
Thanks for feedback. She said I could get the exact bag at no extra charge, but thought I would like a different bag lol. I didn't want to ask if the store credit would be for the current cost of the bag to appear as though I was just thinking about the $$
I thought I would save some $ and use this towards the empriente pm...
But you're right... will I miss the Montaigne...
my new year resolution is to rotate my bags so will I pulled it out I remembered how good it looks with office attire and thought I would get the handles repaired...
