I received my Reverse PM today!!!I have to be honest, I feel almost guilty that I don't check my bags over way more closely when I receive them. What I saw with the Reverse PM- I think the S lock is crooked, there may be a couple of larger holes with the seams that are on the top of the sides of the bag. Before seeing someone else write about this, I would have Never noticed that! Also it's kinda of hard to tell with it being almost a pleated fold. I don't think this is at all a defect, but it does cave in on the back side, I am hopeful once my things are in it that will resolve itself. The one thing I did see- right on the front of the bag, somewhat by the S lock the is one thin line. It looks like when my Mom would use a glue gun and i line of a drip would accidentally end up on what she was glueing. I don't have any idea, is that glue, is it glazing. Idk that anyone else would see it, that probably bothers me the most of anything.
I don't feel there is anything wrong "enough" with my bag to want to chance returning and having real problems!!! Maybe I am not particular enough?! What are your thoughts?
Thanks!
Bottom of my bag has that glue glazing issue but its only on the bottom back so im not worried and its barely noticeableIMG-20170214-WA0002_20170215170717320.jpeg

I had glazing issues with my pochette metis within 3 months of purchasing the bag with very rare use, returned for repair and turn out to be unacceptable and sent back for another repair. In short LV had my bag for just as long as i have it. Grrr. Today i received a call telling me i can do 1 for 1 exchange or something else of same value. I am in all honestly no sure of what to do now. I like the bag but hate the issues that comes with it. If i get a new one pochette metis maybe in reverse mono but i am not sure if i can take facing similar issues in the future. What should i do? I dont have any bag in mind because i was so upset with the lv quality. Appreciate any advise on what to do and bag options as well. Thanks ladies!

POF I would have to look at my Reverse PM again to check that. I don't plan to carry it until Fall, but I will look. Straight up, I am mature- as in I got in bright light and put my readers on to inspect my bag lol! I don't typically do that- I just don't. I was concerned due to the number of people having issues with our bag, so this time I did. Maybe I am mistaken, but it always seems to me that if a person does have an issue LV takes care of it. I think all of us have different standards if you will. Mine are probably low! I have been around women who almost look like they are nitpicking. That's ok, it's just not me.
I don't want to pay a lot of money for poor workmanship. In all my purchases with LV I don't feel I have. I feel they do an excellent job of standing behind their product. It is something to think about if you are extremely particular that you are not going to be allowed to keep exchanging for the same bag. I believe someone said that LV feels that particular bag won't meet the individual's standards and to basically move on. I agree. I take good care of my bags. I don't think I am anal about it. But, they are my bags!!! I want to carry them, enjoy them, and not stress!!!! So I stay away from suede, really light colors, and sadly this new velvet craze :(
Life is too short! just mho, carry your bag and love it- it's beautiful!!!! If anything become's an issue, such as the bottom of the back of your bag, take it back to LV. I believe they will make it right! Congrats on your bag!!!! I love it!!!!!

Sorry, but I wanted to add that while I definitely have had bags from other brands- Chanel,Gucci, Givenchy, Bottega Venetta, and Balenciaga off the top of my head, I don't know that I hear of any of those brands being as good about repairs/exchanges. Anyone?

Will post pics of them. But in all honesty I truly love my bag and all its imperfections I've re-learnt not to be too pifinicky and to just enjoy using the bag . To me its like a child its precious, but he/she has unique characteristics distinct to them and no one else, like a mole placement, freckles etc.. just like the slight imperfections in my bag, to me it just shows the handmade craftsmanships involved with how it was conceived through the process. As long as it's not defective and it's not extremely obvious I'm at peace with it My work bag a Michael Kors, is machine made, everything is aligned, stiching is perfect very generic looking, nothing special. It does its job. My PM Reverse is so much more. Whilst I was in holiday in HK I had several reseller's of used luxury bag shops (Tokyo Brandoff and Milan Station) asking if I was interested in selling them my bag as they have clients on their list wanting one. it's sold out in HK this particular version is very desirable over there.

I like your analogy about moles and freckles; good way of comparing!

If you love the pochette metis you should try again as you may not feel satisfied settling for another bag

2017-02-15 14.32.48.jpg (pic 1) I also have over glazing on to the canvas. Have some on the back too.
(Pic 2) white bit exposing where glazing not quite managed to hit it. I will keep my eye on it. I've felt it and it's still rock hard where the white expose bit is could be glue. But it's not returning because of it. (Pic 3) there's a stich thats slightly longer than the others. And on a pic ive posted on earlier post, the monogram placement on back of the bag but on the sides, aren't exact placement/symmetry on both side. However despite all this I still love
My bag with all it moles, freckles and warts.

I had the PM and had glazing issues within a year, so LV let me get exchange for the same or different bag. I exchanged for a different bag (Croisette DE) but I miss the ease of using the PM and I've started looking at getting another one. However, I noticed changes with the canvas and strap immediately, I feel the PMs quality especially the edges of the bag feel sharp "near the glazing" compared to my previous PM, and the strap not so stiff. That all said I love the PM and I will be adding another one to my collection it's just which one... Monogram, reverse, Infrarouge etc

Great bag flaws and all.

The s lock being crooked would drive me crazy.... it messed up the way the flap lays on it..I returned mine due to that issue. I had a few other minor defects that were small enough that they didn't bother me.

I returned my monogram PM today because of a crooked s lock - it wasn't ever so slightly crooked, but rather obviously so. I took it in, the SA took it to the work room and came back in a few minutes asking if I wanted an exchange. I had originally gone in to look at the Reverse PM, because that called out to me - I think it looks so gorgeous in person rather than in pictures. However got talked into the monogram, decided to think about it and called in the evening to pull the trigger. I did not even check the bag when I picked it up thinking all should be well. I come home and realized that it is crooked. Probably a flaw I could have lived with, but my eye was always being drawn to that. What I was told is that there are only 20 in inventory but about 100 people on the waiting list (I'm guessing at my store alone?)- I am in the US. They had 3 Reverse PM's I could look at so I got what I wanted to initially and was able to satisfy myself that I got the best of the 3 - one of those had a crooked lock as well. I don't know if I was being too nit picky, but it is done and I didn't want to be constantly fretting about the crookedness of it all.

Help me see what is wrong. Nothing jumps out at me.
Misaligned reverse print was on an angle. And S lock wasny centered in the flower monograms. But im not fussed anymore based on everyone elses experiences and their bags im accepting those minor flaws as is. I was comparing the bag to my mono canvas which had a perfect centered s lock and straight canvas. For the fact reverse is limited edition and highly sought after i decided to keep the bag
