Don't you think it's bad that we have to put up with flaws? I know nothing is a 100 % perfect. Why produce a strap where the second loop is slack. It's not fit for purpose. Not good on a bag that is mega money. It's almost like the design is too complicated with so many issues.
I can´t really think of any good excuse for the loose loop, but I think the Pochette Metis is indeed one of those bags that are difficult to manufacture, because it´s small and has lots of compartments and therefore needs lots of stitching, glacing and aligning of canvas. The Reverse needs even more of this detailed work, because it has two different canvases.
So I can understand that it´s difficult to get a nearly perfect bag. Maybe I was lucky with mine, it´s almost flawless.

Just got my replacement as well. The flowers on the strap of my 1st one were off-center and there was a speck of glaze on it as well. The new one seems perfect. Can't wait to wear it! Glad my full sized Zippy fits in it but thinking I may want to downsize my wallet because the bag felt quite heavy with all my daily essentials in it. Do you ladies have any suggestions for downsizing from a Zippy? I tend to carry a lot of cards with me, but not so much cash. I love the idea have a cardholder but I think that would be too much of a downgrade. TIA!

Would the canvas being misaligned bother you? This is the replacement bag for the first one as the first one had little slits in the canvas on the front corners. This bag seems a tiny bit misshapen and misaligned. I love the look of the reverse monogram metis and leaning towards keeping it, wearing it, and being happy with it. Thoughts?

Mine is that way as well. I actually wouldn't have noticed, but it doesn't bother me.

Hi everyone! After stalking this club all month, I finally get to "officially" join it! I was honestly expecting to find so many flaws and really end up just not even getting it, but to my surprise it didn't have any flaws that I could catch, other than the loose loop on the strap, which I can deal with. I've looked it over maybe 20x since I came home with it and still looks good! :) The ONLY thing keeping it from being all the more special is being made in France. I know that's silly, but sometimes seeing the MIF makes it feel all the more special. Is anyone else like this? But all in all I am so excited!! IMG_1484799395.282164.jpg

Your bag looks perfect [emoji122] did you use any coating on it because the canvas looks kinda off white and uneven. It probably just the flash.

I don't actually think it's obvious, as naturally Im tending to look at the pattern going down or across in rows. It dont look misaligned with way I'm looking at it. The fleur de leys and LV patterns are going down and straight across right. That would bother me if it didn't, more than anything. But yours dont give me that instant thinking of its not patterned aligned at all.

This wouldn't bother me as long as bag it to your satisfaction. MIF to me is just a bonus. I'd rather have a near perfect bag MIU then get a MIF bag that isn't as good compared to the one you had received. That would do my head in more.
I like it! [emoji16]
Thanks for this. Daughter thinks the tassel is too big. It's staying on :). I'm use to some bag bling. Seems naked without anything on as all my bags seem to have something attached to it.

I actually saw the pic without reading at first, and thought i had to get one of those for mye reverse mono! I really like how it looks:love:
Thanks I'm glad ladies don't see it as looking odd. Hubby thinks it looks like curtain tassels and the daughter thinks it looks like something that belongs on the end of a whip!.??. Its a Michael Kors tassel, got for Xmas. Chains was a tad long but was able to wrap it in the clasp to shorten.

I went to pick mine up today and returned it right away. The reverse canvas was misaligned and there was a big black smudge on the flap almost like some misplaced glazing.

I was going to sell my traditional mono metis to fund this one but I'll be keeping her now. It wasn't meant to be I guess [emoji4]
