You won't believe what I did. I took a magnifying lens and I think that that spot was a drop from the wax glazing. As there was no way to scratch it out, as I didn't want to scratch the canvas too, I took a Q-tip and an oily Clinique serum, yes a face serum, and rubbed it. It took me a long time to rub with the oil and then with a damp cotton pad and again the same procedure many times and eventually it melted and came out as it seems. But this must have taken about an hour or so rubbing, cleaning, wiping a.s.o. I am glad of the result. It was risky but it worked. The thing is that I could take it to LV but whatever I show them as a defect or something they have great difficulty seeing and they think I am crazy I believe.Oh u did it. I saw it. If it doesnt state in the stamp then look for a cloth material tag (maybe on the left)I just bought the metis pochette today and it does not have a stamp "made in...". It just says Louis Vuitton Paris. I checked 2 Metis both are the same. Any of you have the same?

I saw the cloth tag, it is made in USA. I wonder if I can find one Made in France here in Toronto or do they even exist here in North America![]()
Thank you so much! I am so glad I didn't have to go to LV. But it was a great risk I took although I wouldn't think oil would hurt the canvas. And this is a serum oil. Anyway, all is good now! I am happy!Omg I just learned something today. You r so brave. Congrat

I returned my Croissette and end up buying the Pochette Metis first was made in france but I returned it because of the flaws and I got the second one and it's made in U.S.A. everything is perfect and now I am fully satisfied.I have a dilemma. I just bought the Damier Azur Croisette but I can't stop thinking about the Pouchette Metis. The croisette is made in France and the Metis my boutique has is made in the USA. Should I exchange my croisette for the Metis?
