For those of you in US who want to get this bag, there is hope!! I managed to place one in my cart online just 2 days ago (along with an evasion mini pochette in damier azur, another elusive item) and both have shipped!! Mini pochette shipped yesterday and PM shipped this morning! I've only been checking online for these 2 items periodically for the last 2 wks so I must have lucked out. Don't lose faith and keep your wallet ready ;)

I checked out the Pallas BB in noir today at my LV store. I am totally happy I decided to go with the Pochette Métis. I should be getting my PM Monday according to UPS! I was able to buy one online on the Canadian site (I'm in Ontario). It was a total fluke as I was revisiting the bag online and it said place in cart.

I was just wondering and maybe someone knows...
WHEN and/or WHY did the Pochette Metis become SO POPULAR and HIGH DEMANDED???????

I've asked my SA, and she said "No idea why, but around summer of 2015."
Is that about right?
Did someone super famous show up with the PM?
Is it a "blogger/Instagram hype"?

I'm just curious... ^___^

I'm not completely sure, but I think around that time all the Youtubers who do bag reviews started to buy it. Most of them have it in their collection. This probably influenced many lv lovers. I don't own one, but it looks like a great bag.

I was definitely influenced by the pictures on all the fashion blogs and then I went. To check it out in store to see if it would suit me and my style [emoji5]️[emoji5]️[emoji5]️
It is a great multifunctional bag [emoji3]

I got my shipping notice that my pm has shipped. Fingers crossed it's in good shape and not a return.

I went to LV yesterday and came home with the Mabillon. I want to compare them side by side. I think the Mabillon is very plain looking but it is very comfortable, more so than my old pm.

Does anyone have the Mabillon? If so what are your thoughts?
