I felt the same way as you did with my PM when I saw some of the glue on the handles. After doing some research, I was relieved that's all it was and now I just live with it. The flap is aligned and I took the picture over a bedI took it to the store and they told me that it wasn’t defective and that the glue will go away if wiped, and indeed they wiped most of it out. I wasn’t too happy about this. I insisted that a new bag shouldn’t be seeping glue out. They took some pictures and supposedly are going to send it to other team for evaluation. I suspect that I’m not going to hear back…I still love it but it’s kind of blah!

I wrote in to ask on the bumps on my strap, they say to bring to store for assessment.

Can I ask if your strap is smooth or feels bumpy as well?
I agree. As adorable as it is, it wouldn't serve any practical purpose for me because it won't hold all of my essentials. I need a little more breathing room in a bag, especially at that price point. I would probably just buy a mini pochette if I want something comparable in size.

Hi all, after thinking a long time I’ve decided to also add the PM in mono to my collection. I just love the bag and get so much use out of my empreinte.
I have no store near me, so I went the online route. I’ve first received one where the alignment was really bad and the front flap was crooked. I’ve received my second PM Mono yesterday. When I first took it out of the box I was so happy: it looked perfect! The alignment could not have been better, the bag was able to stand up and it was a made in France piece! I tried it on with different outfits and it looked great. I then however did discover a dent in the canvas. I’m not sure how bothered by it I am. My husband thinks I’m making a too big of deal out of it and that I should just keep the bag. What do you guys think? I’ve added a picture of the dent so you can see. I don’t think I’ll be able to straighten it out. The rest of the bag is perfect though, so I’m not sure what to do…

Try stuffing it with air papers so it pushes the canvas out, leave it like that for a while to "train" it to stay pushed out. If it doesn't budge before the exchange period ends, you can try for another one if it still bother you.
I did try to stuff it, but the dent does not budge. I can't seem to stuff it enough for it to stretch 'outward.' Mmm. I'm going to think about it a little while longer.
I actually love the newly issued monogram micro PM! It’s interesting to me to see it kind of getting such a bad rap and called “totally useless,” “a waste of money,” etc. (not specifically here, but also on YT, IG, etc.), because I actually disagree a bit. For me, it’s actually not too tiny — I carry around the bare minimum on a daily basis and really only need a bag to fit a card case, key fob, tube of chapstick/lip gloss, and maybe my AirPods. I DO wish it was just slightly bigger and could accommodate my iPhone 13 mini with ease, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me because my phone is always in my hand or pocket. So I think it all depends on lifestyle and personal needs — for me, the classic PM size is simply way too big and I would never reach for it if I had it. I’m also super petite and feel like the classic PM looks a bit large on my frame, whereas the micro looks really cute! I haven’t purchased it yet but am planning to, but trying to hold out to see what the new PM size that’s coming in October is.
That being said, I DO think it is ridiculously overpriced for the size, and I understand it would not work
for a lot of people. But … it’s so cute and would actually be functional and practical for me, so I hope to add it to my collection this fall.

Can someone compare the interior to theirs? I feel like the center divider is stitched not so great? It bulges out especially on the left side. Do you think this will settle down over time or should I just exchange it now?

I have the same dent on mine on the other side of the bag. I’m not bothered by it because it’s just how the canvas folds where the stitching is. I’ve had my bag for two years already and no issues.
Congrats on yours and enjoy it! It’s so difficult to find a canvas Métis with a great alignment and an even flap!
I have a dent in my reverse and it doesn't bother me and I am picky. I had it one day on when I went to the store and showed it to my SA and he said its normal. I saw a mono mif piece with no dents etc which was perfect so they are out there but it was not worth it to me to exchange since I love my bag and I always that one might down the road have a worse problem.

Hi everyone! I just joined the Métis Club. I bought an Empreinte in „red”. I don’t know whether it’s cerise or Scarlett. The seller didn‘t even know there were different versions.
The date code says it was made in the 22nd week of 2018 in France. That should mean it’s the Scarlett one, right? I thought the cerise was discontinued before that.
