Hello! Okay so I have two pochette metis bags right now, one in monogram and one in black empreinte leather. The zipper on my black one is much smoother and easier to slide than the one on my monogram. I bought both bags from the same SA at a Saks and I'm sooo happy with both, but I was just zipping them about earlier and noticed it for the first time. Has anyone else noticed a zipper difference like I have, or is it just me?

(also it took me a REALLY long time to find a monogram PM I was happy with, the zipper is still a great zipper but I'd rate it 7/10 as compared to my black empreinte 10/10)

Have you tried using wax paper on the zipper to smooth it out? My brand new Speedy from the By the Pool collection was very sticky at first and just ran wax paper a few times and it's much smoother.

I didn't know wax paper would help it but I'll definitely try that! also it's great to know that it's not just me with minor zipper difficulties haha

I saw lots of complains on PM clasp crooked, any one mind sharing what harm does it do if it crooked? Does it affect the clasp functioning ?

Thanks for this tip. I never knew that about wax paper! I usually use a candle but a few days ago a bag I rarely use had a non smooth zipper and I only had fancy candles (gold sparkly ones) so I used a birthday candle and it worked fine.

Such a beautiful collection! I also own the black PM and the PM in reverse. I’ve been eyeing the regular monogram for a long time, but I felt like I should buy another style bag. Been trying different bags in store, but just keep coming back to the monogram PM. Good to see someone else owns three

I was also told it was a seasonal color. I have it and love it. If you want it, I'd grab it before the price goes up.
