Is it normal to have two type of different leather also. Now at home I notice that the leather flap is less pebble leather then the front pocket leather.

The other pochette Metis in the store was more misaligned and crooked . This was the one Ieft I could choose otherwise , was checking only if the flap was not crooked and not misaligned.

At home I notice the leather is different at the flap and front pocket.

What do you think ?

Thank you very much for letting me know, that the empreinte buckle has notting engraved .

Was afraid I received a defective strap .

Because I am going to give up with the pochette Metis monogram canvas. The two bags ordered online all had misalignment at the back zipper. The LV is not horizontal to the zipper where the stichting is. . The canvas is not cut straight . The Lv logo on the right side is lower then the left side logo. And front flap crooked.
Previous bag was the same .

It's noticeable to me. The bottom of the bag looks more pebbled. Also, it looks like the flap sticks out on the sides, but I think mine shows up like that in photos at certain angles. If you're not happy with it, can you try to exchange it? For me, once you see something, you can't "unsee" it. I try not to be overly picky, but for that amount of money, I need to be really happy with it.

I think it looks good and a difference is hardly visible. I even think it has real deep and nice embossing on both areas because on mine the bottom part is a bit less embossed than the flap but I love the bag as such and live with that.

Does your pochette metis bottom part is very soft ? I am afraid it will sag more after using it. Maybe a bag organizer will help ?

yes, the embossing is real deep and that is why I am hesitating maybe to keep the bag , although not everything is perfect of this bag. Bottom part is very soft.

The other bag they had in the store was more strange shape with the side panels and bottom sticking out .

The bottom on mine is not soft. However, like others have mentioned, my bag used to tip forward when empty. It doesn't do that with things in it and it's getting better when it's empty. I have seen organizers but don't use them in this bag as I think I wouldn't have enough room for the things I carry. If you can overlook the things you found, keep the bag and enjoy it! It's beautiful! I think the leather will change over time too so maybe it would be less noticeable to you?

Hello! Okay so I have two pochette metis bags right now, one in monogram and one in black empreinte leather. The zipper on my black one is much smoother and easier to slide than the one on my monogram. I bought both bags from the same SA at a Saks and I'm sooo happy with both, but I was just zipping them about earlier and noticed it for the first time. Has anyone else noticed a zipper difference like I have, or is it just me?

(also it took me a REALLY long time to find a monogram PM I was happy with, the zipper is still a great zipper but I'd rate it 7/10 as compared to my black empreinte 10/10)

Yes, I think the leather will smoothen out And the pebbles less noticeable.

I just bought a PM empreinte and the zipper is 7/10 and the pochette metis monogram canvas that I have returned has a smooth zipper （ 10/10 ).
there is a difference in the zipper.
