I saw the last picture and it looked so pretty. The only thing I'm not 100% sure about is the long stitch you mentioned but it looks solid to me. Canvas will soften over time and that's one of the reasons I love it so much. I think you should enjoy your bag but I understand being worried and concerned and just wanted to chime in.

Posting this for any who cannot purchase in store and are on the fence about ordering online. I’ve seen a number of posts by members who received a (or several) flawed PM, and crossed my fingers in ordering mine this week, but it is just beautiful! The only aspect that is less than 100% perfect is that the front of the bag’s alignment is ever so slightly offset (not enough for me to care one bit). Nothing else is less than ideal! So glad I took the chance and ordered online. Made in the USA 50th week of 2020.
I think it looks gorgeous! My husband ordered mine online (empreinte noir) and shipped to store-it is perfection and made in France (but I don't really have a preference). Hope you enjoy your bag

Mine is the same way! Called client services services, they have no idea what I was talking about!
Hi Selinaa, mine also does not have a “made in usa” tag. I recognized the origin from the date code tag.

I've recently ordered my Pochette Metis in reverse monogram online. The odd thing is that, on the top handle where it has the Louis Vuitton stamp is super faintly stamp on. And on the inside of the bag, "Louis Vuitton Paris, made in France" is just printed on the leather tag not stamped. So I decided to reorder one online. It's made in USA I don't have any problems. But oddly doesn't have a tag that says "made in USA".
I am leaning more toward the one that's made in France, but am worry in the long run, what if I need to do any repair on the bag, they might deem it as not authentic.

Hi ladies, i just received my Mono PM which i ordered online. However the strap is not in a plastic bag and there is no protective sticker on the locker.. Is that normal for a new PM?
And should i return the bag? The side and bottom does not look normal right? (part that i circled on the pics)

I don't think the strap comes in a plastic bag? Maybe others have received it this way but I never have. If the clasp isn't scratched-don't worry about it. The dimpling looks normal for canvas to me. I think your bag looks pretty
If you are still concerned you could post close up views of your clasp and dimpling?
