Hi! Mono canvas is basically a coated fabric, so it behaves like a plastic material, not like a genuine leather. I believe it looks normal to what it is. Try to Google how LV mono canvas is made that will give you more info. I hope this helps! Btw. Your bag looks beautiful! Use her more often!

I put my phone in the back pocket of mine and it looks like this too. It doesn't bother me at all.

New to this forum. Need expert help! I’m wanting to purchase a monogram pochette metis in Canada. I emailed LV online to ask about when bag may become available. They responded with basically NEVER and we won’t even add you to a waiting list. Is it discontinued? Is it due to COVID and slow down in production? Aaagh. How are you all finding your bags? I’m in Vancouver. Thanks!

I just ordered one today on the US site. I was check every so often and I happened to check an hour ago and it was available so I got it. Now it's back to unavailable.

This is similar to the response I got when I messaged them and went into one store. Just keep trying. I got lucky because I called and had a chat with a lovely girl via the main LV phone line here in Australia and she kept me in mind for when one became available. I think I called around feb or March and thought nothing of it until I got a random call from the same girl in May to tell me she had one for me! When I picked it up in store I was told COVID probably helped me secure one! Here in Australia, because of our close proximity to SE Asia, a lot of our stock is purchased by tourists from the region. Because my country closed its borders, the people on the wait list had to give them up We also have problems with locals who purchase certain styles in bulk, and then re-sell them. Because of economic uncertainty, they also didn’t commit to their orders. (Seriously though, LV needs to bring in buying limits, but having said that, people will always get around them by getting “friends” to purchase on their behalf. I’ve seen people do this with other hotly sought after items that have limited purchase numbers - like iPhones and vitamins!)

Not sure about the Canada site, but the Monogram is now available on the US site again. I just placed an order. Keep checking and refreshing. It becomes available and then unavailable as soon as someone places an order and inventory gets depleted again. And it happens rather quickly. This stalking game is no fun!

Wanting to purchase the Pochette Métis monogram in Melbourne, Australia. How has any recent purchasers been able to do so? Calling the online store, going in store, refreshing on the website? Help is appreciated, this would be my first bag purchase!

This is common for flap bags and wallets, and the back I'm not sure, it maybe where it sits on your body so the canvas moulds like that, do you store the bag stuffed to keep shape?
