I've been stalking the PA in monogram for what feels like an absolute age! I don't know whether to:

1. Continue waiting it out in the hopes of nabbing one (miraculously)
2. Buy vintage/pre-loved OM (for not that much less than new)
3. Get the pochette double zip in mono with flowers (the price compared to the PA makes me want to cry though)

Any thoughts/advice would be more than welcome!

Do you have the option of putting your name on a waitlist in a nearby boutique? I too kept stalking the website and gave up but then my SA was able to get one for me once I put my name on a waitlist with a CC.
Hope you get one soon!

I've had conflicting answers... I called customer services in the UK, the person who helped me said there is a waitlist but the spaces have all been taken so she could give me a call back when the waitlist is open. A waitlist for a waitlist, can you imagine

I've also asked my SA in Selfridges London but she said it wasn't an option as it's a best seller. Mixed messages - typical LV!

I'm going to try my luck in Birmingham but I don't have an SA there unfortunately.

And thank you for the positive vibes, crossing my fingers for both myself and anyone else in this situation!

I can't help much since I'm not well informed about Europe's inventory...but I will say this...if you decide to get the double zip pochette...check out the youtube reviews first before you take the plunge! In my opinion pa is far better choice than the double zip! Cheaper and more spacious!

Are you in the UK? I heard it was available at New Bond Street store few days ago.. I think customer services do not always give accurate response in terms of stock check. The other day when I rang for favourite mm stock check they said whole uk didn’t have it available but I did go to New Bond Street and DE favourite mm was there. I tried it but ordered the mono mm which arrived today. Good luck!

I understand the dilemma. Personally, I’d hold out for the one you want brand new.
Buying a different, more expensive one won’t actually satisfy you and it will cost you more.

In my opinion, buying a pre-loved one only makes sense if you’re saving a lot of money or at least a decent amount.
I don’t like how resellers take advantage of the scarcity to inflate the prices so much. But oh well, welcome to a hyper capitalist market.

The PAs are still available. You will find yours. I came across 2 MP in both Mono and DE within 4 days and I had heard about people waiting for months for at least one.
Try department stores.
Sometimes the SAs at department stores go the extra mile to try to find you what you want.
Go online and/or call the CS number every so often. You’re bound to find one and it’ll be that much more exciting for you.

While price maybe an important fact to some people it may not be as important to others. I was offered over $300 over the retail for the PA and I didn't take that offer because I knew if I sell it I won't be able to buy it back. And PA doesn't matter whether they are very used, gently used, like new or brand new all sold very well many way over retail price. So you see, there are lots of people are willing to pay high price or way over retail for an item they want.

Yes, good point. Totally true.
It’s a personal viewpoint, which I why I stated that for me and only for me, that scenario is not attractive.
But I see your point and know that for many people getting the item they want is more important than price.
Nothing wrong with that.

Yep I'm in the UK :) My SA sent me a screenshot of her iPad, there's one in Edinburgh and a few in Heathrow, but neither option works for me unfortunately. I might see if my friend doesn't mind paying a visit to New Bond St for me today, thanks for the tip!

I think you hit the nail on the head there, well put! Thank you for the advice :)

The rational part of my brain is telling me to wait and get it brand new because it works out better financially and I'm not the most knowledgeable on pre-loved or vintage items. So fingers crossed I come across one soon! Because we all know luxury items can sometimes cause blind spots when it comes to logic

Some good points raised here, food for thought. Thank you all!

You’re very welcome. I’m on the same boat. Trying to find a PA in Mono but to be honest, I haven’t been stalking the website at all. Just made a few calls and since I found Minis then I distracted myself with that for now. Lol. But I’ll keep looking.
We’ll find ours soon. I just know it. ;)

Does anyone have the Mcraft vachetta strap for their PA? How does it compare to the LV version? I’m wondering I should get the Mcraft one or the LV one for my PA to make it crossbody.
Also I’m 5’7”...any advice on strap length for the mcraft one. The default length is 47”. Wondering if that will be too short for crossbody on me?
Thanks for any insights! Sorry if I’m posting in the wrong area.

I love mine - I was blown away by the workmanship. I’ll take a pic for you when I get home.

I just took these close up shots quickly. The vachetta, hardware and stiching all appear to be high quality and the MCraft strap is definitely well made. It doesn’t look like a crappy strap on a quality pochette. I’d definitely buy from them again.
