So I finally received my NM PA in mono today. I have to say that I'm a bit shocked at the difference between my new vs the old. The new one just feels not as nice as the old. I know people have been saying this and I'm not really one to check the stitching etc but the overall feel is a lot less substantial to me. Stitching is also very tight all throughout the bag and I wonder if it'll last me 15 years like my old one. Hmm...I think I'm going to take a few days to think about it.

Just curious where was yours made?

I know a lot of ppl say it doesn’t matter where it’s made but I am interested to know where the new ones are made. Majority of the new ones seem to be made in France

It's MIF. I bought a MIU speedy b25 in January and the canvas has the light sheen to it and it's beautiful. The new PA is pretty dull looking. Maybe it'll get better with use.

Seems like the PA is only Made in France now. I’ve seen some made in Spain or USA in the past but all the recent made ones (including mine) are made in France.

After tracking down the Adjustable Mono strap and patiently waiting for it to arrive...I don’t like it.

I’m going to return it tomorrow; I just don’t care for the look of the hardware and vachetta strap holders on the front portion. I like a cleaner looking strap on such a small bag, if that makes sense. I’m also not a fan of the nubs on the underside of the shoulder protection thingy; I can feel them.

I bought a pink leather Mautto strap last summer to go with my DA PA and I also like it with the mono. They have other colours as well; red would look great with Mono too. With the Kcraft vachetta strap (custom length) and the pink Mautto one, I think I’m good.

I’m sure someone else will be happy to scoop up the Mono strap once I return it. :smile:

Thank you :biggrin:! I copped both within 2 weeks apart. Which print do you want? Are you in the U.S.? They're a tad difficult to track down but NOT impossible! You just have to drop everything you normally do and glue your eyes to the screen lol. They should pop up again in a couple of weeks or so. Check out the stalking thread--there are constant updates and tips on item availability. Good luck:smile:

Thank you for the info! I am in the US. Yes. I just texted both my Saks SA and Neimans SA just in case. Might get lucky. I’ll try the website too or call customer service since for now it’s showing: call for availability. [emoji30]
Had no idea this was the scenario with these bags and now I want it ever more, and that is exactly why they do it this way; scarcity psychology that leads to more desire and in turn, more sales lol!

Yes. Definitely try them all--stores, client services, and website. It's a side job lol but you'll increase your chances that way. Some stores still do waitlists-you can reserve your name, some stores take orders-you have to make full advanced deposits. Just don't give up on your quest!
Crazy how few years ago these were readily available everywhere; now it's a scavenger hunt.

Totally! Thanks for the detective work insights. I spoke to a SA and he said there were only 3 in the country at the moment but couldn’t guarantee it since they weren’t able to place orders for “hot” items (that is what he called it). So I’m going to have to call whichever store shows availability. I’m also going to be on the lookout online and I’m bound to get lucky at some point. The strap does show in stock online so that’s a relief at least.
I’m not going to let it drive me insane. Lol. I’ll just wait and I’ll get one eventually. In the meantime, I’m ordering a Gucci Soho Disco in nude (Rose Beige) to ease my anxiety while I find my NM PA! [emoji23]‍♀️

I’m interested to see if anyone has used the mono PA with the Ebene strap? I’m not sure I like it with the gold chain, I used it with the Pochette Metis strap but found it a little thick with PA nm. Would love to see how it looks with Ebene strap if anyone can share a pic. Thanks!

Omg you guys I cannot contain the excitement!
I have been stalking the Earth over for a for a Pochette Accessoires NM in Mono in the regular size and have not found one yet.
Hadn’t even thought of a Mini Pochette ever. Don’t know why it never even crossed my mind even though I’ve seen them everywhere for so long.

Anyway, I was watching a WIMB video today of a Gucci bag I recently purchased (you know the joy of seeing how others stuff their bags to get ideas, lol), and saw that the girl was using a MP as a catchall inside her bag and the MP looked so beautiful and clever as an organizer and BAM, it hit me!
The MP bug bit me right there and then. Don’t know what took me so long.

I immediately started to feel that rush so I decided to investigate the matter. Went on LV.com, and no luck there. I quickly figured that this too was going to be a mission so I came here trying to find answers on how to get lucky and started to read the MP crusade everyone had gone through to catch one.
And while I was already dreading that angst of wanting this cutie and not being able to actually purchase one, just like the PA NM, I thought of texting my SA at Saks thinking she was going to be like: “Guurl you crazy..”

But instead she said: “Let me check....” And all of 20 mins went by and she sends me this photo saying: “Got it.”
My heart dropped.
Shipping out Monday.
Incredible. I think I got really lucky.
So don’t lose hope, ladies. Your MP is out there just sitting around waiting for you to summon her when you’re ready.
