I agree with you, I think the strap could be at least 2-3 inches shorter. I also prefer my crossbody to hit closer to my hip. Can I ask how tall you are and what length you purchased?

I just received my vachetta leather crossbody strap from mcraft and I'm extremely happy with it! It's really close to LV's strap, just slightly lighter. I'm 5'3 and I prefer my crossbody bags to sit a little higher, close to my hip. I went with a 42" length, since the zipper tab on my pochette nm adds another or inch or so. I made the mistake of ordering the $69 strap that has stitching on both sides of the strap versus just one straight down the middle (like the shoulder strap the pochette nm comes with) for $65.
Thought I'll mention that in case anyone is like me and prefer to keep it as close to the original design as much as possible.

The Mcraftleather on Etsy vachetta straps should patina the same as LV.
I do have a couple chains as well as a monogram strap to use as options w my PA. This is my mono strap.
Not sure where you live, but I don't see it on the US website anymore. It seemed to pull up on the Aussie one but then says sold out. The US only lists a thinner monogram strap that has w a vachetta loop (item J52314). Mine is a smidge wider than that one.

Out of curiosity when was the last time anyone actually got lucky and had either NM Pouchette (Mono or DA) actually show up as “add to cart?” I’m thinking of calling 1800 tomorrow to inquire about the Azur. Thankfully, I got the NM Mono a couple years ago. I’ve been stalking the LV website since late October for the Azur. Thanks.

Just checking, is anyone's Mcraft scrap rough on the edges? I have one in the natural leather and it is really rough. My DD had one in the darker color and it is smooth. Thinking of getting the other one but do like how the natural color looks with the mono MP.
