The Vachetta leather looks best with the mono, I think, but I have a dark brown strap too that I use and still looks great. I like having both, and switch them up depending on what I'm wearing and the weather. I highly recommend the straps from this Etsy seller, McCraft leather... amazing quality, and match the LV purses perfectly. They look like they came from Louis Vuitton

I would go for the beige as well. For height reference, I got a similar strap at 110cm(max) x 1.2cm for my DE pochette. I'm able to wear it on the 2nd to last hole. I'm 5'2 so if you're much taller than that, I think you'll need something longer than 110cm. I would also recommend mcraft on Etsy but they are quite a bit more expensive. I have one of their straps when it was $10 cheaper than the current price. The hardware is much nicer quality and matches very well. However the $40 price difference made me go to eBay for my DE strap lol.

Originally I was dithering over old vs NM because of size, but I got such a good deal on this vintage old model (from 2000...I feel old) and now since no one can find NM pochettes anyway, I'm so glad!

Here's my final look!IMG_20180123_110116391_HDR~01.jpg Took a black strap off another bag because I love black and monogram together, and hung a hold chain from kcraft on it just for fun. I had the extra LV clasp (from the destroyed original strap that I didn't want anyway) so I swapped one kcraft clasp for that.

I have a NM DE that I bought this time last year. It has been on long trips in my motorcycle saddle bag and has been carried in all sorts of weather. It still looks like new. Good luck getting the pochette that you want.

There have been a lot of rumors about this because it’s on contingency where LV doesn’t know if they’re truly going to get rid of it. If you call an SA you can have them order them into their boutique and then ship it to you. You can pay over the phone too. Very easy. It takes about a week or so. Customer service isn’t as helpful as working one on one with an SA. The online stock is always low and/or call to purchase. But an SA can order you one :)
