Beautiful, festive photo! :) Congrats on your Eva! I have that in DA but I'm always wondering if I should have gotten the monogram Eva. It looks elegant with that little gold accent instead of the big plate! [emoji3]
Lol I love DA (really I love all the canvas prints) but other than having DA in SLG's (mini pochette and milla) I haven't worked up to it in a bag yet because I always get jeans color transfer on things. Hmmm maybe the pochette accessories in DA for summer might be an idea... [emoji1]

Hi Kitty Magenta, congrats on your pretty pochette plus strap, I wanted to encourage you to keep the Eva strap, IMHO it's the best strap and it's genuine LV, I've read that this strap is sold at LV for $240 if sold alone, and for $120 if it's a replacement part for an Eva, I think it was fortunate that you were able to get the strap for $120 without owning the Eva, this is my understanding after reading posts about this, someone correct me if I'm wrong on the pricing for this strap.

The untreated vachetta is a little vulnerable right now because it's new, but it will be safer to use once it starts to develop patina. When I get mono items I like to leave them on my dresser for a few days or weeks to receive some indirect sunlight, and after some time I start to use them and they don't get water spots or stains like fresh new vachetta. You could also treat the leather with AppleGard or Kiwi, if you go into the FAQ's section of this forum you'll find several methods to treat vachetta to avoid spots, then you'll be able to use your strap without worry in any weather.
I consider the leather strap to be very casual and I would use it for daily wear, I wouldn't save it for weddings unless it was a casual ceremony. I hope this helps and you're able to use your pretty pochette as much as possible, enjoy!
Your correct I snagged a preloved eva without the long strap and when I went into make a big purchase for christmas brought my eva in and the sa let me buy the strap it was 120.....If your going in to buy a bag most of the sa's will be more lenient on letting you buy replacement parts for other bags. Honestly if your about spend 1000 plus whose going ro tell you no. But I did have to have my bag with me in the store.

Love the Pochette Accessoires but am wondering if there's an extension or longer strap available for cross body wear? I can't see one on the website.
Yes, there are adjustable straps in DE, mono and epi on the website to purchase so you can wear it cross body. I bought the DE for my mono pochette but sort of wish I had bought the mono adjustable strap.

If you ask for a replacement strap for the eva this will only cost 100€(you cant see it on the website). I did the same for my favorite! I already have an eva in DE but i bougt a replacement strap in vachetta!
Good luck!

That's a good tip- is that in the pale colour leather (sorry, new to this so don't know all the exact terms for the leathers etc!). Is it long enough to wear crossbody?
