The perfect going out/date dress??

So I've been looking everywhere for the perfect going out dress. I'd like something that would go with my nude or black colored CL shoes...I've been trying to find a mini dress in black, white, nude, grey, red, etc. that is just perfect and cannot seem to find it!! Any suggestions? Have any of you ladies found your perfect dress?? Thanks!

If you are looking for a dress to go with neutral shoes, the possibilities really are limitless!

I suggest that you browse around on somewhere like shopbop or net-a-porter that have a gazillion dresses and every time one makes you say "YES" put it in your cart and then decided what styles you like best and depending on your budget, either buy one of those or look for one similar to it. Once you know what style you are looking for, I think that the people here would be super helpful. Happy date night!!

I highly recommend anything by Rachel Pally. I also love the American Apparel halter dress, both the pencil and regular versions.
